i follow cris cyborg on social media why is she so obssesed with ronda rousey? everyday she post bout her smh Because Ronda Rousey trash talked her for about 2 years when they were in different weight classes and organizations, then as soon as Cyborg agreed to all of Rousey's terms for a fight, even though if took her a year to get her weight in order, Rousey still would not fight her. Plus, it was the superfight we never got, because everyone and their mother knocked Rousey unconscious before the fight happened, so it lost a lot of intrigue.  |

It wasn't just Rousey either. It was Dana White and co. saying shit like Cyborg is a man, and jacked up on steroids and all of this shit. It was literally (and is still true) the best woman fighter on the planet (Cyborg for over 10 years now) getting publicly shamed for having a physically toned body type and when she wanted to step up for a fight,doctors flat out told her "if you cut this much weight, you could fucking die."
And then she still tried to do it anyway, and then UFC was all "no." lol
I would be a bit bitter too if I was bullied for years by multi-millionaires because I was good at something and then never got a chance to grab the carrot.
Also, there's rumours circulating that Cyborg may also transition to WWE, so starting a twitter feud now would mean a LOT of money later if that ever happened.

I feel like a very minute minority of people actually don't like Ronda in WWE. I've found her perfectly enjoyable to watch thus far and honestly it's the best decision she's made for her career other than signing contracts with Dana White-approved opponents.

I donno, twitter was REALLY upset about her being gifted another unearned belt after Summerslam. Or people like her, but hate that everything is gifted to her constantly, including unearned WWE belts that people have literally given their ability to walk for and have never earned? That sort of thing?
Edit to clarify:
1) I don't think I have anything against Ronda herself in this situation. I don't get the impression she would ever take being a WWE champion lightly, nor do I get the impression she would say shit like, "I will only sign with you if I can be champion," etc. I feel like she legitimately respects the business, so in turn, I respect her for that.
2) I thoroughly enjoyed her match with Triple H and Steph at Wrestlemania, and would have been way more interested in her working some sort of tag team or something. Especially if it would have been possible to basically work with Roddy Piper or some other legend to kinda help push the door open. (If I were writing, she would be with someone like Piper, some legend that is loved and respected, work with him for a bit, then turn heel, and ride a solo career as a hated heel that no longer/never needed said legend type thing. It would have given her time to be less boring/sloppy in-ring, and to ride both face and heel trains.

lol well she cant be a heel (yet anyways shes got no mic talent) alexa bliss is the best heel in the wwe right now the only thing i dont like about rousey is her dominating alexa bliss in like 1 min at summer slam

You know, this could have been another opportunity where she turns on the Legend (a man, maybe someone like HHH or something) and they do a man vs. woman match. She has literally thrown Kurt Angle around the ring already, did the same thing to HHH, she's a different type of wrestler, someone with a legit Judo background can use her posture to toss much bigger opponents and it could've worked ala Chyna-type movement, so I agree with you there. But as much as I also thought it might be a bit too soon for Ronda, she's actually been incredibly enjoyable. She'll improve on her promos and whatnot, but her wrestling is definitely there. She's pretty fearless in the ring to take bumps, and I attribute that to the fact she trained in MMA by getting taken down, grappling, etc. and tossed in Judo. But I like Ronda now. She's one of the highlights for me as a performer, but I am sure they will ruin her story like they have ruined everything else. |

Charlotte is the best woman heel in the WWE. After that, there's just no comparison. I do like Alexa a lot though, she's probably the next tier of decent heel, but that's about it. Lana was also pretty good on the mic, but she turned sort of face/anti-heel, it's weird. |
