The year is 1838. You. You have arrived. Yes you. You've awaken and now you are here. Where are you? Somewhere off the coast of the Atlantic, but on which side of the Atlantic is unknown. North. South. East. West. Directions are a blur. You've pulled something wet from your face. It's a short piece of cloth. A blind fold? Were you blindfolded? How did you get here? Everything up to this moment is a mystery. All you can remember is who you are, and where you've come from. Everything about you is crystal clear. Everything beyond your sense of self is fuzzy and confusing. Your hands, they feel dirty. It's sand. Sand has surrounded you. You turn around and look. There, a ship, destroyed on the banks of a tide that has gone out. The ship is ruined. There are others. Spread out all around you, there are many more. Some also removing the blindfolds from their mouths, others being assisted in removing shackles still attached to a splintered pile of ruin. Who are they? Your stomach sinks as your first instinct strikes. Perhaps they are the reason you were taken. Perhaps they are the ones who control this ship. You brace yourself for an attack and contemplate running. But then something hits you. It's the information you're unfolding as you watch them. They are prisoners. All of them. And so were you. But who had control of the ship? There's no one else in sight, but these poor fellows who seem to be coming to the same realization that you are. That you're all here. Shipwrecked on a strange island. You turn around to take in your surroundings and see the castle that looms over the land. You hear footsteps in the sand behind you. The others have gathered around, and introductions are in order. CHARACTER BIO:NAME: Tell us who you are. From now on, you will be referred to as this character. ABILITY: Please select from our list of abilities. No other abilities will be made available. Once an ability is selected by someone, it will not be made available to another character. 1 ability per character. BIO: Will you tell the truth or are you hiding something? What is your character all about? ABILITIES:Note: If the ability is scratched out, it has already been selected and cannot be used for a second character. You also cannot select an ability that is not listed below. Acid Blood: Ability to use your acidic blood in various ways. Adoptive Muscle Memory: Ability to replicate any physical action after seeing it performed. - Oliver James/RattlesnakesAnimal Control: Ability to control and/or communicate with animals. - Carl Newton/Killing JokeClairsentience: Ability to perceive the history of an object by touching it. - Milkmire/SandmenElemental Minor Manipulation: Ability to manipulate elements with minor methods. Healing: Ability to heal the wounds of others. - Bixby/GAPIllusion: Ability to alter the perception of others. Luminescence: Ability to emit light from one's body. Mediumship: Ability to view and communicate with spirits of the deceased. - Tim/King's PoisonPersuasion: Ability to force other's to obey one's commands. Precognition: Ability to accurately predict future events. - Albert/AnarchyTelescopic Vision: Ability to see clearly in darkness and magnify vision to various levels. Temporal Rewind: Ability to rewind time, (duration at DM's discretion, typically based on plot-based DM movement). - Lord Byron GAME NOTES/RULES:The game is constantly evolving and things that can sway the story away from the guidance of the DM can be put here for deterrence to ruin the game, not to ruin your enjoyment. This game will be more visual than what we've played in the past. Locations you visit will be accompanied by an image of the room you are in. This room can then be explored appropriately, but can also be referred back to for decision making purposes and assist in the imagination of your character's response. As the game unfolds, anything stated by the DM (me) is gospel, canon, concrete. It cannot be altered. This is the foundation of the story you will play. Anything within the confines of this foundation is fair game. Example: If I say "the door is locked" you cannot state "no it isn't." But the method of attack the obstacle of a locked door is within your power and imagination. Will also mention that just because your character has an ability does not guarantee it will work every time or work to the length you hope it will. So always write "attempt" when performing an action. You can join the game at any point. We'll just consider you still unconscious from the shipwreck, so when you arrive you follow footsteps from the shores up to where our heroes are currently located. Trolling or any attempt of ruining the game will be ignored, destroyed or countered by the DM. Example: you decide to just kill your friends, well, you're murdered by a falling piece of lumber that flew up into the air after the ship wreck and just happened to come down when you were being a dick.

NAME: Oliver James
ABILITY: Adoptive Muscle Memory
BIO: The name's Oliver James, but yous can call me Ollie. I was born on January 8th, 1811 durin' a snowstorm early in the mornin'. Me pops was an Irish immigrant comin' to the Americas and me mum was a native of Massachusetts. Me mum died givin' birth to me, which left me pops in a state of depression. At the age of seven, I noticed me pops deadened himself. Since that day, I've had abandonment issues, and thoughts that me no good. After that, I attached meself to people very easily, clingin' to whoever could fill the void. Adopted by close friends of me pops shortly after his death. It was a house with people in it, but it was no home. They never asked how me day was goin', or how I was feelin. They supplied me with food, a pisser, and a sleeper. At the age of fifteen I ran away from that place. I wound up in a gang of sorts. Other kids in a similar position as me. They were more like a family to me than anyone had ever been, until they found out the truth. One day me saw a master fisherman. Caught himself a gooder size. Picked up the rod and had a try. matched him fish fer fish I did.By the time I was nineteen, I met the girl of me dreams. The girl that I thought was goin' to fill that void. I tried to leave once. A dark tale as old as time crept in and took me fer surprise. Prison came a callin'. Spent me last eight years livin' and breathin' the dust of those dirty bars. Then one night, my eyes shut and open here on these sands. Maybe this island is me new home. Maybe its me new cell. Maybe neither.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Six feet, one inch tall. (1.85 Meters) 205 pounds. (92.9 KG) Short light brown hair. Brown eyes. Fit build. 27 years old.
