Oliver, to Milkmire: Just a bloody X!? That'll do... toss the papers or lend me a hand, and I'll mark the damned things! ( The Sandmen)

ooc: can i move even though im in the air? OOC: Yes. The way I see it is you're sort of like holding onto it, but sitting on top of it, like this: You have good stability and can move about up there, but the creature intends on keeping you up there. Does that make sense? So you can consider what your character is capable of doing in the position that he is in.

I think if you picked another ability, from this list below you would see each could be pretty advantageous in this and many other situations: Acid Blood: Ability to use your acidic blood in various ways. Elemental Minor Manipulation: Ability to manipulate elements with minor methods. Force-field: Ability to create a moderate force-field to shield you and others from harm. Illusion: Ability to alter the perception of others. Luminescence: Ability to emit light from one's body. Telescopic Vision: Ability to see clearly in darkness and magnify vision to various levels.

Milkmire hands Oliver the documents. DM: Milkmire gets as close as he can without being struck by the swinging arm of the corpse-creature. He frisbees the documents toward Oliver. Oliver places his wrist over the document and lines an X to sign his name. He then takes his arm, keeping it as low to the ground as possible, and frisbees the documents back at Milkmire. "I may not know how to use a cannonball, but dammit if I don't know how to use my own blood!" said Oliver, but no one heard him, and he noticed that no one heard him, and it made him a little sad, so he repeated it louder, but just a few syllables in and he was forced to roll away from another strike from the corpse-creature. The others heard his first few syllables though, and his struggle, so Oliver didn't come off cool like he hoped. Anyways, Milkmire crawls toward the documents and collects them before crawling back away from harm.

ill float over to the creature and start yanking planks off of him and stop him from adding the planks to his muscles OOC: You can't "float" but I think I get what you're doing. So, here is your DM reaction. DM: Bixby tries to pull away one of the planks, as he sits comfortable on another plank, but try as he might, it seems it is the muscle tissue that is holding the whole beast together with these nail-planks. If only there was assistance from some kind of sharp weaponry, perhaps then Bixby might be able to bring the beast down to size?

Moving forward, I am going to do a review for what has gone down since the previous update. So if you ever feel like you're behind or lost, just look for these banners below, OR search "Summary" or "Last Time on Monastery" or whatever: Here is the summary of where things stand for today: 1. After Milkmire announced the boat was alive and a corpse was re-animated by Bixby, it revived the ship. The ship, using the powers of muscle tissue and rope, collected the planks and attached them to the corpse to attack our heroes on the island. 2. Tim swam out to the ship, found a glowing eye in underneath it, and when he went to attack it, a spirit of a woman stopped him and pointed at the corpse-creature instead. 3. Jif distracted the monster, and Bixby was lifted onto its arm and into the air. Oliver was stuck in the range of the attacking monster, but managed to sign Milkmire's documents in exchange for assistance in saving his life. Will Milkmire save Oliver? Can Bixby find a way to attack the corpse-creature from his position? Will Byron find a new ability? Find out next time on the Monastery of Count Orlok Schreck!

Milkmire unequivocally puts his documents in the safest possible place, where he can retrieve them when the time comes, and where nothing can possibly get at them, remove them, alter them, steal them, or damage them.
Milkmire attempts to assist Oliver, and regardless of whether he is successful or unsuccessful in rescuing Oliver, he will then attempts to RKO the ghost-woman.

Milkmire attempts to assist Oliver, and regardless of whether he is successful or unsuccessful in rescuing Oliver, he will then attempts to RKO the ghost-woman. DM: With Milkmire's documents unequivocally protected on his person, he turns his attention to Oliver. Milkmire looks to Albert, who also sought to save Oliver, and devises a plan. Milkmire has Albert lay down and crawl, head first, toward Oliver. Oliver reaches out and links hands with Albert. Milkmire then grabs a hold of Albert's feet and digs his heels into the sand to drag both Albert and Oliver out of harm's view. With that, Milkmire turned and announced he would be using his RKO ability, but without any possibility of seeing the ghost-woman, Milkmire has done nothing but stood in place, flexed, and shouted. He looks silly. A silly man with his signed documents.

Milkmire: Damnit all to hell, I was sure it was summarized to me that a ghost-woman appeared. Why the blast can I no longer see nor sense this entity? As no mortal man knows the answer, I turn to you, Gods in heaven. (Milkmire looks to the sky) Why? WHYYYYY?
