Very easy game. Here is how you play:
Pick a movie Tell us why it was good or bad No Spoilers
Someone else will then quote your movie and tell you why you are wrong.
That's it. Everyone can play. Super easy, but no spoilers!

Hook
Why It Was Good
Big part of my childhood. The boo box haunted me as a kid, and learning as a grown-up that the pirate put into the box was Glenn Close was pretty cool. Rufio was the coolest character I'd ever seen (eventually even influencing an early 00s punk band to use it as their name). And I always wanted that damn coconut sword. I also really wish I could memorize the horrible insults Robin Williams uses during the food fight scene.

I don't remember Hook enough to berate you for being wrong! I do know I have seen it twice (once when it came out, and once years later), and never felt any degree of connection to it for some reason. Something about it just never resonated with me, and I remember both times just being like..."Oh." The first time I was probably more disappointed, because I liked Robin Williams, etc. I may have been confused as to what the hell was going on or something, though, since I was probably expecting regular Peter Pan. If memory served, it was not that.

The first time I was probably more disappointed, because I liked Robin Williams, etc. I may have been confused as to what the hell was going on or something, though, since I was probably expecting regular Peter Pan. If memory served, it was not that. The very non-spoiler version of the synopsis is that Peter Pan did grow up, and forgot everything about Neverland. But his kids are kidnapped, and he must now return and try to remember the fantastical years that once were. It's a sort of flip with some fun story-telling tie-ins on how it all relates back to the original tale, but with a new take on it.
This reminds me of a separate topic though. The Russell Crow Robin Hood movie. That movie was originally a highly sought-after script where the writers wrote a story called Nottingham, where Robin Hood was a thieving bastard, and ruining and making it difficult for the Sheriff to maintain order and whatnot. Russell Crowe was apparently super pumped for this, as was the studio, and Ridley Scott got his hands on it and basically re-wrote the entire thing until it was just plain old fucking Robin Hood again. Good job Ridley. Ya damn tool. Here's the details for those curious to see how fucked it got: www.vulture.com/2010/05/robin_hood_script_russell_crow.html

Mighty Ducks 3 was Great
It has the same kind of silly stuff as the first two, but it did showcase a lot of the difficulties of growing up and dreams becoming more realistic. You might be good at something, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're great or that you're deserving of breaks. You need to work hard for what you earn, and spreading ants in a dorm room can sometimes help.
Might Ducks 3 was great. Prove me wrong.

Prove me wrong. mighty ducks 3 was horrible.. cause the kids were supposed to be poor yet they have top of the line equipment.. and who is in charge of the national team level of kids hockey... they take best players not an entire pre made team.

I just learned about this spoiler-protecting feature from proboards: (spoilers go here) To do it, type [ spoiler ] write your spoilers [ /spoiler] (without the spaces, obviously)
