REMEMBER: - Champions cannot fight in the Grand Prix - Zenith-qualifying tournaments mean the winner will fight for the belt at Zenith - If that fighter wins the belt at Zenith, they are ineligible for the Grand Prix. - If you want your fighters available for the Grand Prix instead of fighting for belts, now is the time to withdraw them from the Zenith-qualifying tournament. - They will not be allowed to withdraw later.

Isn't Julia Budd not allowed to fight for a belt for one season? Was that the rule if she vacated?

Isn't Julia Budd not allowed to fight for a belt for one season? Was that the rule if she vacated? Title Relinquishment Since we have more than 1 way to build a winning team here, and more then 1 main prize to shoot for on this site, I want to handcuff people as little as possible. As such, unless there is some vehement opposition to this, we're probably going to start allowing those who want to to relinquish championship belts in order to bolster their Grand Prix teams. Though this is still in the "idea" phase, it will likely work as follows: - If you choose to have a champion relinquish his/her title so they can compete in the Grand Prix, that fighter will be ineligible to fight for any championship for the entirety of the following season. - When you relinquish a title, you also relinquish the point you earned for winning said championship. - The SuperFight title may not be relinquished, as it has no effect on your Grand Prix participation. - To relinquish a title belt in order to compete in the Grand Prix, you must submit your relinquish request BEFORE the 16th event of the season. Since I have to do a lot of clean-up work to accomodate these requests, this will be strictly enforced, so please pay attention. - Starting next season, I will clearly label the N1C tournaments that are "Zenith qualifier" tournaments (the tournaments that, if you win them, you fight for the belt at Zenith). If you do not wish to be in these labelled tournaments, you must submit a request for removal from the tournament prior to the card being simmed. Otherwise, if your fighter wins the tournament, then the belt at Zenith, they will be ineligible for title relinquishment, and ineligible for Grand Prix competition. - Unless something different comes up, the plan at this time is to determine a new champion via a single-event tournament, consisting of people who have never won a belt in that division before. This is subject to change, based on league schedule, needs, etc. - Number 1 contender tournaments and earned #1 contender spots will not be affected, and will proceed as scheduled.

Justin said he's going to let her fight for the belt since that's a individual team punishment, and not a fighter punishment

Ah, did not know she switched teams over the last year. That's fair. Does that team that vacated it also have someone challenging for a belt in this card? lol
