I remember as a kid at night time whenever I looked outside my bedroom door I would see the shadow of our railing on the wall and because my dad always put his hat on the railing, it would make the railing look like a little boy wearing a hat. Anyways, every night I would look at the shadow and I would see the "boy" wave at me. Kind of creepy now thinking about it but I'm assuming that was just the imagination of a 5 year old boy working it's magic. I also remember I called him Jimmy and waved goodnight to him every time before I would go to sleep.

I know it's not the theme of the thread, but anyone else have any creepy happenings from their childhood? Idk if it's really creepy, but at my old house, when I was downstairs you could hear people walking around upstairs because the floor would creak. It would creak all the time when nobody was home, and the worst part is the creak would be following the person, so you knew where they were walking. I went upstairs so many times to greet my mother only to find I was still alone, or only with siblings who were also downstairs. |

Ahh that's just old houses.
Though, at the house I currently live in, every night at 12:32 it sounds like a car door is slamming outside and yet I can never see it.

It wasnt old though, we had it built for us. Our current house isn't even 5 years old yet and it already has those sounds, it's apart of every house. |
