Reminder that we will be switching up the weightclasses for the SuperFight title, starting next season (ManMMA 461). This is how the SuperFight title will work for the rest of this season, and moving into next season.
- Our current SuperFight champ will defend until the end of the Grand Prix. Business as usual.
- After the Grand Prix, the final SuperFight champion will become the #1 contender for the belt in his weight class (this season, heavyweight, with title fight to be fought the following season, likely ManMMA 461) and the SuperFight title will be vacated.
- At the draft, along with their regular draft picks, the team with the first overall draft pick will also choose the weight class the SuperFight title will be fought at next season. They may choose someone from their team to be one of the two people making up the first SuperFight title fight of that season.
- Along with their typical drafting, the team with the second overall pick may put forth a challenger from their team to fight for the SuperFight title.
- All subsequent draft picks can continue to put forth a challenger from their team in the chosen weight class to challenge for the SuperFight belt (in the weightclass chosen by the first overall pick).
- Season proceeds, SuperFight belt is fought for, and defended, as the season progresses.
- Whoever is SuperFight champion at the end of the Grand Prix relinquishes the belt, and will fight for the main belt in that weight class the following season, and the cycle repeats.
