Out of curiosity, what advice would you have for new people? Like, is there anything you guys picked up after a while that you were like, "Dayum, boy, wish I knew that shit a year ago!" or something like that?

Honestly, the new details we got on what upgrades mostly do is a game changer, in my books. This was updated in January, so pay no mind to the original posting date of (Kony) 2012. manmma.proboards.com/thread/937/modifiable-fighter-attributes?page=1It helps you better understand exactly what to focus on to upgrade a fighter a specific way. If you look at that and see a mountain of information that is too difficult to understand, just PM me and I'll give you my quick breakdown on how to build a variety of fighters. You don't need to come in and try and trade for the best fighters on the site. As you can see on the championship banner at the top, that's a pretty mixed bag of real-life talent. Those belts are earned, and you can too, and it won't take long to do it. It just takes smart upgrading choices. I think the most difficult thing about getting a belt is not mixing conflicting upgrade choices and then sometimes just getting the right match ups. But that's all part of the fun AND even when they are championship material and you might not have a belt, there's always Grand Prix, and you're making it hell on someone else by having a powerhouse gatekeeper.

Here's a good one: Never rely on anyone to have updated roster pages. Use the Official Roster page ( Found here) instead. If that appears out of date, yell at The Sandmen or The Texas Rattlesnakes to update it for you. (It only takes us a few seconds, but we often forget to do it when changes come about)

I have to agree with The Rocketmen on this one. The full transparency on upgrades was the real game changer for everyone whereas, prior to that, it was a pretty closely guarded secret. That's the real thing that made things better around here. Plus, with the advent of the WW division, that creates more parity with the teams too in having fighters spread out a little more. It gives more opportunities to succeed. 👍

The full transparency on upgrades was the real game changer for everyone whereas, prior to that, it was a pretty closely guarded secret. This isn't accurate. It was never a closely guarded secret. It's a program that was made like up to 10-12 years ago and was never publicly educated on what things do in the program. It took Justin sitting down with it and spending hours and hours creating identical fighters and slightly modifying things to see exactly what they would influence in a fight to get the full "transparency" on what the upgrades might influence. It brought a lot more clarity on the impact of upgrading more than 1 offense type and what the fighter could be expected to do. But even then, match-ups still play a big part of how a fight goes.
