For the GM: Hello sir, congratulations on being on top of the standings this season, and having a awesome lineup at Zenith. How has your team remained strong all season long, and what are their plans for the Grand Prix? Are you confident in your fighters to bring a trophy home with you for the first time ever?

For Sanchez: Hello Diego. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but no Welterweight Champion has had a successful title defense so far. You're looking to be the first with a fight against Ben Askren. What are your thoughts on Askren as an opponent?
The last time you guys faced each other was at ManMMA 425, where you knocked him out in the third round. Are you confident in your ability to come up with the same result?
If you retain the belt, does it bother you that you won't be able to help your team in the Grand Prix?

For Aldo: Hello Jose. Congrats on making it to the finals of the Lightweight Championship Tournament, where you're looking to become the first ever new lightweight champion. How have you managed to stay healthy and make it this far?
Your Zenith opponent, Gilbert Melendez, is also hungry for a chance to win the belt. What's your strategy for beating him?
This question might be asked a lot this conference, but I'm curious. Would you rather win the belt or help your team in the Grand Prix?

For Tank: Tank, on this next card we're going to see you face off with Chuck Liddell. It'll be your second title defense, but there has been rumors saying Liddell is just out of your league. What is your response to those rumors?
Since you're the SuperFight Champion, it doesn't matter whether you're holding the belt or not. Will we be seeing you represent your team in the Grand Prix?

You have the largest roster in the league, do you think having so much depth negatively affects your standings?
There are rumors of two new teams joining the league, and one of them is here with us today. Do you plan on donating sending any fighters away to these new teams in order to trim your team down a bit?

For Chuck: Chuck, you've bounced around quite a bit this season after your first team retired, and then your second team traded you. What are your thoughts on xx - The King's Poison ?
You're currently on a three fight losing streak. Did all the team jumping have anything to do with that?
What made you want to challenge SuperFight Champion, Tank Abbott, while you're on such a losing streak?

What do you think your chances are of winning your team's first Grand Prix?

For Cain: Cain, this isn't your first rodeo. Once again you've found yourself ManMMA Heavyweight Champion, and this time you're defending against Andrei Arlovski. The two of you used to be on the same team. What are your thoughts on Arlovski?
You defeated Arlovski via knockout in the fourth round at ManMMA 453 earlier this season. Are you looking to finish him in similar fashion at Zenith?
If you defend the belt, are you disappointed in not being available for the Grand Prix?

For Andrei: Andrei, as we said earlier, Cain is a former longtime teammate and friend of yours. After suffering a loss to him in your last fight, how do you plan to bounce back?
What are your thoughts on your new team?
If you win at Zenith, it'll be the first belt for your team. Does that raise the stakes for you at all?

Jon Jones will be your first fighter coming up, and he'll be defending the Middleweight Championship against Anthony Johnson. What are your thoughts on this bout for your team?
What are certain goals you have for the league come next season and the seasons after that?
Are you looking forward to having a finalized team next season?

For Jon: Jon, at Zenith you're going to be defending your belt against Anthony Johnson. You have never faced Johnson before, so how are you preparing differently for such an opponent?
Do you feel it's your responsibility to win since it's going to be the first major fight for your new team until next season?

Do you even remember the last time you didn't make a Grand Prix? If so, what was the reasoning?
Ben Askren is competing for the Welterweight belt at Zenith. Are you aware that every challenger has won the belt so far?

For Ben: Ben, if you lose at Zenith, you'll be the first successful title defense for a Welterweight Champ. Does this add any pressure for you in preparing for this fight?
Does part of you hope to lose in order to compete in the Grand Prix? It's been a few seasons since The Sandmen has brought a trophy home.

It has been a long time since you've won a Grand Prix. How are you feeling about this season?

There were rumors you wanted out of the tournament in hopes of competing for your team in the Grand Prix, but management wouldn't let you. Are you going to still try and win?

For Cat: Cat, this isn't your first time fighting Amanda. You knocked her out in the second round at ManMMA 405, but it's been a long time since then. How are you preparing for your upcoming title defense against her?

Anthony Johnson is possibly one of your best fighters. Are you nervous that with a win at Zenith, you won't have much of a chance in the Grand Prix?
Despite being at the lower spectrum of the standings, Karolina has come a long way on your team. What are your thoughts on her?

For Anthony: Anthony, you've won 23 of your last 25 fights. Do you think that has had anything to do with you football carrying your girlfriend? Is that apart of your training regime? You've been accused of football carrying your girlfriend, and you're fighting someone that hits pregnant women with cars. Knowing those two facts, what is your favorite type of ice cream and why is it tiger tail? What was it like working with Jackie Chan on that one movie?

For Karolina: Karolina, you're the longest reigning champ of the current champions. How does it feel knowing you've only defended the belt four times?
It is widely known that Jessica Eye is one of the biggest women in the division. How do you feel you are going to overcome the size difference?
You've been with your team for a long time, how have they prepared you for this moment? Defending a belt at Zenith.

cat won her first belt but its not mine, I won belts before and ill win em again.
im always confident in her abilities. shes alpha yo. that said I am thinking about offering her for ronda rousey but ill see if other people want rousey first. I don't think her winning or losing to nunes will play a part.

I don't try for gp wins. if I did I would nto donate so much to new people and I prefer working instead of getting all the rewards. I like workin on people and keepion them warm so they can win on other teams while I get them belts on my team I build the stars so other teams can win the gp trophy and im ok with that especially when my guys win mvp at gp.

im not preparing if I gp I gp. if I don't I don't. do you know if having brock made me better or worse?? like I made new gp list but maybe he brought my team up or down when I got him back?

cat: I, the best clinch fighter here so I will do my thing and win in the clinch with mauy thai again. don't tell Amanda that lol. no part of me wants to not have this belt. im a champion gp is for teams id rather be the best than be part of the best but my team is the best anyway so it makes no difference. were all rthe best here. I don't know what it means to my team to be the first bw champ for them you have to ask them.

GM: Odds are solid, but we aren't basing our success on where we are in some arbitrary standings. If we get to the Grand Prix, great, if not, so be it. We are a team that prides ourselves on development. Some of those fighters go on to do great things elsewhere, some stick around for the long haul.

We are not a Fight Team that believes in stagnation. Sometimes a change of scenery can do a lot for a fighter, learn some new things with some new coaches. We always welcome fighters back with open arms. Some have called us a bit of a revolving door but it has no negative application to our coaches and our team. We are a tight knit group and we do what we can to help better each other as we achieve our goals.

We have a few fighters that might be moving on to, hopefully, greener pastures, and we wish nothing but to best to those fighters. These people are tough, trained tough, built tough. We're a family, and sometimes your family grows up and moves away, and we support each other and celebrate each other's success, no matter where we go.

Except for Matt Hughes. He's an asshole.

Nunes: I had a chat with our GM and yes, I will be leaving the organization for another in the coming weeks. I think this is a good time. I learned what I could and this team helped me become a contender. Now, hopefully I'll become a champion on my new team.

I've learned a lot from everyone I trained with on this team. I'll have memories with this group for years to come, and I'll always look back with fond memories, and who knows what the future might bring. It's been great, hanging out with all of these wonderful people and growing.

Except for Matt Hughes. He's a piece of shit.

Really, though, I have no fucking idea. All I ever do is collect people I really love, and trade people I grow tired of. I think with all things the secret is enjoying yourself and having fun. That's all I try to do here, and I guess the results also come? It does make things frustrating, because I would be just as happy being dead last, and I know winning does matter to others, so I would happily trade those people places were it possible.

No, for the reason above. It is not something I pay attention to. Ironically, simming and match-making is basically a full time job, so my team is secondary to all things. They hate when I say that, and sometimes some guys will demand a trade after I do, but it's the unfortunate truth.

I was not aware, but I was probably not not aware. Austin keeps track of these things, then tells me, then I find them interesting, then promptly forget because I am old. Usually about once a season I get a chance to sit back and take stock of everything and I get to see cool stuff like that. Or when I am updating champion histories or something. Then I can appreciate the ebb and flow of the belts more. The new weight classes have been competitive and interesting, though. I am happy that seems to be working out thus far.

Andrei: I'll look back at my mistakes to pull through this to win. I think I like this new team and how its going so far, and getting the belt for this team is what I plan on doing.

GM: Honestly, the team has been struggling a lot lately, and I think that has a lot to do with all the changes. Nobody is getting comfortable with who they're training with, and some fighters get here and it seems like they're gone again. We used to have a good club, but then a lot of pieces were moved, and we're just trying to get ourselves together again. I don't think it will be a big deal if we don't have Anthony. He's a solid fighter for sure, but we're confident in our GP lineup. Karolina is the only fighter that has been with us since we entered the league. We're very proud of how far she has come, and look forward to her cementing her legacy for the events to come.

Karolina: It just shows that being champion is no easy task. Every champion used to be the contender. They used to be the one striving for the belt, so we know what it's like to be on the other side of the octagon. Winning a belt is much harder than defending it. Jessica Eye is a great fighter, one of the best we've seen, but I've beaten her before, and size doesn't matter when you're unconscious on the mat. As for Zenith, I can't think about it like that. I just have to prepare for it like a normal title defense. If I get in my own head too much, it will lead to mistakes.

They used to be the one striving for the belt, so we know what it's like to be on the other side of the octagon. Winning a belt is much harder than defending it. Jessica Eye is a great fighter, one of the best we've seen, but I've beaten her before, and size doesn't matter when you're unconscious on the mat. As for Zenith, I can't think about it like that. I just have to prepare for it like a normal title defense. If I get in my own head too much, it will lead to mistakes.

Nobody is getting comfortable with who they're training with, and some fighters get here and it seems like they're gone again. We have our sights on creating a championship reputation for our team and there is no better way to build momentum then a Jon 'Bones' Jones win. We have complete faith in Jon and we are ecstatic that he will be fighting another talented fighter in Anthony. Iron sharpens iron, and Jon proves that over and over again he only gets better. 

As far as next year is concerned; its hard to say what our team will look like. Theres so many variables at play, yet we remain committed to winning and developing a couple young prospects at the same time. We intend to put our mark on this league.

Jon: Yeah uhhhhh...thanks for the newsflash. Honestly, don't really know what my GM was saying about Anthony. I get he is a talented fighter and all, I mean the guy is ranked right behind me, but I just don't see him being on the same playing field as I am. True, its always a new challenge when facing a new opponent, but common man, I just don't see how Anthony is going to keep up with me. The guy calls himself a 'lionheart" but he has more of a 'turtleheart' cause he is slower than dial-up. 


To answer your second question, naaah, my responsibility lies within myself, for myself. Whatever else happens, happens. My teammates will have a lot of time to prepare before the start of next season, so I'm not worried. I don't put the weight of anybody else on my shoulders except for me and my loved ones. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to be apart of a new team, but when I win, its always for me, my loved ones and God.
