The Dan Henderson "Disappointment of the Year" Award

In honour of ManMMA's resident disappointment Dan Henderson, this award is presented to the team, fighter, or situation that brought about the most sadness and disappointment over the course of a ManMMA season.


At Grand Prix 23, Sons of Anarchy was having an unprecedented perfect prediction. In a Grand Prix Final no less (the ones where you not only have to predict who wins the fight, but you have to blindly predict the winners of the finals fights as well). With a perfect 17 out of 17 correct predictions heading into the last fight on the sim, Sons of Anarchy predicted newly-developed prospect Jens Pulver would upset mainstay Demetrious Johnson! It was a bold move. However...in the spirit of Dan Henderson, he was wrong, Jens Pulver lost, and Sons of Anarchy's perfect Grand Prix prediction was completely and utterly bitched.

Congratulations to Sons of Anarchy for winning the inaugural Dan Henderson "Disappointment of the Year" award.
