what do you suggest for the "give to the rich and piss on the poor" problem? If you feel that the real worst team would not gain a benefit then any points that would be gained could be given at the end of the season. I dont think the give to the rich piss on the poor thing is actually an issue. One extra point isn't going to murder the poor. If we really want to do something about rich and poor boost the weekly salary of teams not in the top eight. Every week they spend outside the top eight they get three points instead of two.

Only reason I brought up the poor thing is that I usually support equality suggestions. I think this has to be looked at differently and more as a milestone than anything else. The poor doesn’t really play a part in this one. And with it being set for seven it makes it much more difficult to attain. Everyone has an equal shot at getting this extra point by building a dominant champion. There’s nothing unfair on that part.

I think people have a misconception about what the bottom teams actually are. There are obviously anomalies, but I think it's pretty clear that there is a direct relationship between site activity/dedication, and team standing.

For sure, which is why I said the rich and poor aspect isnt even an actual thing. And if people are paying attention, the top teams have less points than the bottom typically.
