This post comes about 20 hours before the stupid Usman-Covington fight.
It has been revealed that Covington and Usman are both making $500,000 show money. Am I missing something here? Like...I dislike Covington for all the wrong reasons (X-Pac heat). Like. I don't want to watch him get destroyed...I just simply don't want to watch him. He bores me, and annoys me, and I have no interest whatsoever in Usman-Covington other than it would be nice for Covington to lose. That's literally it. So how the fuck is this fight worth $1M?
Covington needs some quick WWE lessons, so he can fine-tune his mic work. He is not good, nor creative, nor interesting. He tries for cheap heat, but everything is so stupid or cliche or unoriginal that he just wastes everyones time. I want him to go away not because of what he says, but because he is embarrassing.
I miss strange Ben Rothwell, or WTF Derrick Lewis, or even cocky Jon Jones. If you need to be a heel or an outright dick, be interesting about it. Colby is not that. He is not anything. He just exists.
