  Source: TMZ.comWith Survivor Series in the books & Team Phoenix coming out on top over Team Hale Storm 4-2, TMZ managed to catch up to GM Kruzer & Jason MacDonald outside the Phoenix FC club house & gym in Vancouver. TMZ: Kruze, how does it feel to be the inaugural ManMMA Survivor Series Champion? Kruzer: Oh, totally shitty... I'm about commit Hari Krishna. JMac: ...That's Harry Carey, Kruze. Kruzer: What? The actor? No, that can't be right... Well, whatever... How do you think Kruzer feels, jive turkey? It's fantastic... And a long time coming, after the successive losses in team challenges I've had over the years in ManMMA. Not that there was any doubt in my mind the we would beat The Hale Storm's team. I had a plan going in, and it was executed almost to perfection. TMZ: What did surprise you? If anything... Kruzer: Ummm... I think the only surprise to me was Jo-Jo losing, and that quickly, to JJ, to be honest. I felt bad for her cuz she trained her ass off for that fight. TMZ: Any regrets putting her in over the likes of D'Alelio or Kedzie for the tournament? Kruzer: Nope, none. I went to my team captains here at Phoenix FC; Bader, Monster, Jules, and JMac here. We came to a consensus that it was Jo-Jo's time. She'd spent so long in the shadow of folks like Rousey & Holm over at Camp Cannon during her time there that we collectively felt it was her time to shine. Unfortunately it didn't go the way we'd hoped, but, you know, that's the fighting game. TMZ: We also heard there was some talk about a Gracie-MacDonald rematch being added to the tournament. Any truth to those rumors? Kruzer: It was mentioned, but, at the end of the day, Hale Storm still won't put Royce in a real fight against JMac. JMac: Honestly, I personally think Royce actually wants the fight but Team Fail Storm is preventing it from happening at this point cuz they know damn well I can beat him in a straight up, 5-rounder. They're just preserving his little victory over me and have been ducking out at every turn since. Despite the fact that, initially, Royce made the challenge to me after I challenged Anderson when he had the Middleweight title. I was ready to go at Survivor Series, just in case... but, once again, they ducked out. TMZ: Does this not seem reminiscent of you refusing a rematch against Chris Weidman? JMac: Not really... there's a vast difference here. Ol'Chrissy wanting an immediate rematch after losing to me four times in a row is the complete opposite of this thing between me and Royce. Plus ManMMA changing the SuperFight rules last minute like they did, didn't do myself, or Royce, any favors really and it's not like I've lost to Royce in four straight attempts either. TMZ: So you're still open to fighting Royce? JMac: Yeah, of course... I'll fight anybody in the Middleweight division, up to and including that plug, Griffin, we have right now too. I don't care who it is. My goal remains the same: I want that Middleweight title. But I'd also be happy to avenge that loss to Royce too though. Anytime; anywhere. I'm free Zenith if Team Fail Storm ever decides they want to stop wussing out and running away from The Athlete. Just putting that out there. Kruzer: C'mon Mac... It's Miller time. And yes I did select Velasquez in response to Lesnar, because he had almost a perfect track record against Lesnar beating him so many times, it just so happened Lesnar had a fluke win, but hindsight is always 20-20.
