After experiencing the previous format vs. the one The Rocketmen used, processing still seems to be easier with our original format, so lets go with that. (Also, despite reprimanding Mike for doing it wrong, it should be publicly noted, The Texas Rattlesnakes also had his format royally incorrect as well, resulting in many many seconds of wasted time on my part. This made me disgruntled and very disappointed in him).
ANYWAYS.....
Auction Format
1) Number your preference. Every bid-on fighter must have a unique number beside their name. They should also be on a separate line, one bid per line.
2) Include records (as of the most updated official roster page at the time of your bid)
3) Clearly define who you are bidding for who (who you WANT followed by who you are bidding)
4) I don't want any more "whoever is better" bids. You choose. You have the same tools I do. If unsure, check their fight histories.
Format Example:
1) Shogun Rua (77-57) MW for Anderson Silva (119-34) MW
2) John Dodson (29-31) LW FW for Gina Carano (106-26) BW
3) Joe Lauzon (16-23-1) WW for Demetrious Johnson (39-42) LW
4) Tecia Torres (17-21) FW for Anderson Silva (119-34) MW
5) Colby Covington (1-4) WW for Gina Carano (106-26) BW
Updated rosters can be found here.
Usual disclaimer:
I have now posted a more detailed write-up about how Weighted Auctions actually works. You can find that here.
In a nutshell, bid the absolute best fighter on your team that you are willing to give up for the fighter that you want. I don't want to hear any more, "If I had have known...I would have bid...." bullshit. BID. YOUR. BEST.
Up for bid:
Shogun Rua (77-57) MW
Joe Lauzon (16-23-1) WW
John Dodson (29-31) LW
Bethe Correia (16-19) BW
Tecia Torres (17-21) FW
Barb Honchak (36-42-1) FW
Chris Weidman (16-26) MW
Sheila Gaff (3-5) BW
Kaitlin Young (15-24) BW
Aleksander Emelianenko (6-7) HW
Thiago Alves (53-42) WW
Colby Covington (1-4) WW
Ryan Hall (9-16) LW
