I just wanted to post this as I think others should be given a chance to catch up. Sandmen has a large number of gp wins and title belts. The GAP between Sandmen and the rest of ghe league needs to be less. Banning was just my first thought.

I honestly think this is extreme... And I won't lie, I kinda dig it.
However... I do kinda think The Sandmen should probably retire from GP competition though cuz this is literally getting ridiculous.

Anything related to belts is off the table, because of rankings. As I explained to xx - Team GAP privately, after having just done a season of Diego Sanchez being unable to compete for a belt (thus unable to be in tournaments, thus unable to be ranked), it was a pain in the ass to book, and would be exponentially worse for a whole team of fighters. I don't care about the GP nor the wins (though objectively think there is a certain kind of smugness in telling someone they can sim your fights for you but cannot participate themselves, especially the GP which I fucking hate each season to begin with). But from a purists standpoint, my philosophical issue with that is what does a GP mean if you don't compete against the best teams? Like, the NHL doesn't ban a team from competing when they win too many Cups. How would the playoffs look if, for example, this year Boston, Tampa, and Pittsburgh were banned from competing, because they were too good recently? The pride I took from winning (belts or GP) always came from beating the best. EARNING something. I would not be as happy with my first GP win if it was just against the 7 worst teams in the league, instead of the top 7. Last thing, and perhaps most important thing. 2 of the last 3 GPs I had only 8 lists, including my own. It's a VERY real possibility that banning any team from GP competition could eliminate the GP all together. Just something to consider. |

you voted to get rid of Team GAP.
Ive had it with Justin winning all the time. He cheats and when you confront him on it he twists your words against you. I dont want to feel cheated anymore. so I put up this vote to try and make a change on this site and i knew that if nothing changes I would quit. I had a phone call with Justin last night and it was clear to me that nothing was going to change.
my quitting has nothing to do with the kruze situation. and everything to do with the unfairness on this site that many of you are happy to ignore. I wish you all happiness and I will not be returning. Good bye.

I think the part of that whole thing that sucks, is that the "Sandman cheats" philosophy literally lives inside only your head. Every single other person on the site knows that is not true, and it's very unfortunate that you both believe that, and by making this statement you think others will be convinced of your conspiracy theory.
Honestly, it sucks Kruze put himself in shitty situations to not be able to participate on the site.
It sucks that you feel you need to quit because you lost a tournament, especially when your team just started to crush other teams in the belt counts and was on the rise.
And it sucks that you actually believe this nonsense.
Very very sad to see you go if you do decide to. I hope you reconsider.

The saddest part for me about this whole thing was I agreed to step out of GPs for him (though I had questions), and the vote of his poll was not decided yet either. He had 3 votes to not ban Sandmen from everything, and 2 votes for some sort of change (1 for Full ban + 1 for no ban but come up with new idea to fix problem), which is what he said he wanted.  |

I feel that me and you both know that he doesn't cheat. As my team has won once and I was a huge underdog, not to mention my team just fought him and and almost won. It is sad to see you go but I hope you change your mind.
