I think it's changed a lot, but this was first discussed here kinda, but roughly.
We have been discussing it a bit behind the scenes and I figured since we are waiting on the draft, we can open it up and discuss more here while peeps are waiting.
General idea from where we are at:
- A Bounty Board is posted, where prizes can be awarded for certain tasks (dethroning a dominant champion, achieving certain milestones, etc).
- The League might put some up, but a team can "Buy" a bounty. Example, if Austin wants someone to injure Holly Holm, he can pay 1 point to add that task to the bounty board. Then, for the remainder of the season, that bounty is in effect, and if someone accomplishes that task, they are paid points. The points would be matched by ManMMA. Will outline below.
- I think we are thinking of something like 1:2 (so if you pay 2 points to put a bounty on someone or some task, the person who achieves that will get 4 points, etc.).
- Collecting a bounty is free - there is no buy-in or anything on that end. Anyone except the person placing the bounty can claim the bounty.
- Then maybe something like bounty lasts for a season then needs to be renewed?
General stuff like that. Lots of room for discussion.
