I doubt anyone noticed, but a lot of re-structuring as been going on with the structure of the site.
We learned about a year ago (the hard way) that Proboards has a board limit of 1000 boards. Boards are the places where threads are made - so all 509 ManMMA events are in boards. Every team page is in a board. etc. Without being able to make new boards, we haven't been able to make a team board for xx - Mario’s Mad Maulers, for example. So we have had to re-structure things.
First to take the hit will be our archives. Right now, our archives are what we have always had - Season > Events > Fights/Results/Annoncements. But to save board space, we are cutting out the middle man, and now several of our archives will just be a board holding the season itself, which will have all the fights, results, etc in one spot (separated by those dividers I am sure you have seen in recent posts).
I have started with season 8. You can see the work-in-progress here (changes/new stuff are at the bottom).
I will be keeping the Grand Prix boards as they are, since they are complicated. I will be keeping the special events (like Versus, Challenges, Survivor Series, Zenith) in separate boards as well. For the time being, I'll be doing this for our older archives first, then working our way forward to our most recent events as necessary. Since all events up to 80 used unique banners, I have left those untouched.
Sorry for any mess this has created, and for all the divider/placeholder threads you are sure to see show up over the next few days. I think it's a slight downgrade, all things considered. We tried contacting Proboards directly and they were unable to provide additional boards, so consolidation is the best option.
