This was an interesting one, because Anderson was doing damage, but the judges LOVED what Sonnen was doing, with takedowns and such. Just LOVED it. So when the 3rd rolled around, and both men had pretty good health bars, it was entirely feasible that even though Anderson was doing all the damage (and Sonnen was recovering between rounds), he could lose a decision. So he went aggro late round 3 and early round 4 and cleaned up his mess. But he has paid a small price for that in stamina, and that will no doubt haunt him in rounds upcoming.

This was an interesting one, because Anderson was doing damage, but the judges LOVED what Sonnen was doing, with takedowns and such. Just LOVED it. So when the 3rd rolled around, and both men had pretty good health bars, it was entirely feasible that even though Anderson was doing all the damage (and Sonnen was recovering between rounds), he could lose a decision. So he went aggro late round 3 and early round 4 and cleaned up his mess. But he has paid a small price for that in stamina, and that will no doubt haunt him in rounds upcoming.
