If we vote to extend the draft, we will add a 3rd round pick that would also be a swap a fighter.
The same rules would be in effect as before. A dropped fighter cannot be claimed until the next draft round.
So if Cannon drops Lena Ovechkin in round 2, she cannot be claimed until the beginning of round 3.
What do we think? Will this mess up the way anyone has been trading? Do we want an extra SWAP A FIGHTER round this year?

Or an extra point?

I want to say no points for round 3, since the purpose was to bring in fresh talent to replace all the 0-4 guys.
BUT, since I am fair, I can make that something we can discuss or vote on AFTER this poll closes. Because I have a few ideas in mind that should work for everyone.
So moral: Maybe. Maybe extra point, maybe only for a fighter.

If we get to draft a point, then yes... If we don't, then no.

so if we dont want to make a pick we get a point instead.... sweet.... for round 2, yes. For round 3 it's undecided, pending this poll and other factors.

If we get to draft a point, then yes... If we don't, then no. Why would you vote no if you could not? You could trade that pick to someone...

Same reason you have to be a dick about everything ??? cuz you figure you can... I've already traded my 2nd, if there's no fighters in the 3rd that I want or need, I'd rather have a point than trade off the pick for virtually nothing since by the 3rd round, the pick will be virtually useless to most teams... except yours, since you're collecting swap picks.

Then you can choose not to select someone.... You can either have a FREE option to do something with, or you can have nothing. Why would your reasoning be dependant on it being a point? If you want a point, trade it for a point. If not, and you have no one you want to drop, just skip. Seems pretty straightforward to me, actually. If you want the chance for it being a point, you vote yes. If this idea fucks up your plan, then vote no. If you are just PMSing and want to PMS all over the rest of the league, keep doing what you are doing Kruze. You are doing a top drawer job. lol.

Then it's a useless pick... Why would you trade a point for a pick that's not even worth a point?
There's no real reason to do this other than for you to be able to build your own "swapper pick" collection by having more of them out there. It has nothing to do with fucking with my plans, I'm getting 1 of the fighters I want with the 2nd overall pick, after upgrading Lashley, I have no need for a swapper pick at this time.

Long story short, because after reviewing the "To Draft" list, I saw there were A LOT of REALLY cool fighters on that list that, with this year's DEEP draft pool have no shot in hell of coming into the league. I figured giving someone the chance to swap out proven garbage for (potential) super stars would benefit everyone.

Yes, but only for this year. I read the first post then noticed it's later in the evening and there were mini-rants by Phoenix and decided to save myself the effort and skipped past those posts. As far as I'm concerned, I voted and all of those posts by Phoenix are dandelions. No one cares about dandelions.

well for me it seems like a good idea to get the extra trade if you can choose a point instead... its less confusing and since i'm really new i'm happy with my team except for maybe one or two... besides what if nobody will trade away one of their points for a draft pick? then your left with a useless trade.. we may have different tactics and we need to remember that... and kruze is a dick... but hes got a point.

Disagree. Kruze may not have a point if he doesn't first accept the third round pick.

Which I already did on the poll HammerFists... I just don't agree with going into it blind and not knowing if you can draft a point or not. Just seems a bit unfair.
