There were some (apparently) controversial picks for various awards last year, so this year, make your voices heard.

Any special KOs, submissions, or entire fights that you remember as being special for this year? Or even a whole event? Any fighters surprise you this year (for better or worse?)

Remember, if you don't provide us with alternatives, you can't complain with our selected nominees.

Reason: Had he not won his fights, Sandmen would have been eliminated in every round he participated in due to the inconsistency of teammates Aoki and Le.

Haha, okay, that is cool for this thread too, but I mean mainly for season-end awards. Fight of the Year, KO of the Year, Sub of the Year, Surprise Fighter, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Noms for Fighter of the Year:

Anderson Silva: Undefeated season; hasn't lost in 2 HW fights.
Cris Cyborg: (Undefeated since winning the belt.
Tyson Griffin: Despite not being able to hold on the LW belt, still continues to impress.
