It's one of those things that doesn't bother me either way, but if busted while intoxicated in public or drinking and driving, should be same offense. At home, or buying it wherever, that's fine. Just do what you do with tobacco and make it so kids can't see it at the store. It's there, but you can't see it.

The main negative experience I had was in highschool my best friend smoked it. He would invite me over, he would get high, then he was fall asleep. It was boring as fuck. I stopped going over there.

It seems a waste of resources to keep it illegal, and yet, I hate it when people pretend it is somehow healthy and wonderful with no bad anything ever. A lot of people can't handle a high just like they can't handle their drink. I find both annoying.

Ive heard so many people that if marijuana is illegal, then smoking and drinking should be illegal.

First off, drinking is simply a choice. You can end drinking at any time. People just decide to be dumb and become drunk. Second, its too late to make smoking illegal. Theres far too many people who smoke to make it illegal, youd have a worldwide outrage. As for marijuana, there is way less people and less risks for outrage to illegalize it, therefore it is illegal.

I became straight edge after my mom's 31st birthday, when she got completely hammered, and i had to walk by a shitload of puke to school the following morning. I look at the people at my high school smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Some have reasons to smoke, some people do it because they think its cool. Sure, if cool meant trashing away your future just to get that high, then thats cool. I never try to tell anyonento stop, i just tell them to do what they think is right for them. If its to waste their lives away, more power to them. If its to quit, then ill be there to support them.

see i completely respect that. Choices are what it's about. But also the empowerment and ability to make good choices.
