I'm only voting for 1 here, and I'll tell you why: While all of these fighters are worthy, capable, able, and their records dictate as such... there's 1 fighter missing from this list, and despite his losses this season, should've been nominated anyways...
Write in vote for: Paul Daley

Remember when I had a call for nominations and received none? Yeah, that would have been the time for that, not now.
Also Daley is 4-3 this season...

Yeah, screw informed decision-making. Just vote for whomever. Informed, my ass. lol You based all of these noms on records alone... 3 of Daley's 7 fights got nominated for Fight of the Year and of those 3, he did lose 2 BUT you've always said that "styles make match ups". The fella beat guys like Matt Hughes & Carlos Condit then also gave Hendo & GSP (in a championship fight) a run for their money. So I don't know what you were calculating, other than just fight records, but Daley's season spells Fighter of the Year to me regardless... Who did Rousey beat that was "significant" (your word) this year? Carano... that's it. So hide behind the "you could've sent it in to me" schtick, and your "informed decision"... my votes remains the same: Koscheck & Daley. Anyone that wants to follow suit and vote for Daley too, feel free.

Your Rousey point is valid, and she was just BARELY included on this nomination. She made it mainly because no other fighter has walked through 6 other fighters in one night like they were nothing. Your challenge had most to do with that.
And write-ins are not considered. You had enough time to submit me nominees. No one did, so only what is on the short list is considered.

Again, this had nothing to do with "You had enough time to submit me nominees." Blah, blah, blah... It had everything to do with basing my findings that Daley should be included on this list based on YOUR choices for nominees for Fight of the Year. By not including him here, it's like saying that a player that's on the losing side of the Stanley Cup Finals should not even be considered for the Conn Smythe Trophy whether he was the best player or not. That's kinda sad man.

Being in good fights does not make him the best fighter of the year, dude. How many times has Leonard Garcia or Nam Phan been nominated for Fighter of the Year in real life?
Hell, even Joe Lauzon has more Fight bonuses than anyone in the UFC, and he hasn't been considered for any Fighter of the Year awards.
And my nominees for Fight of the Year are based on largely on Fight of the Night bonuses. If you did a few seconds of research, you would know Daley was in a shit load of Fight of the Night fights, and you could have submitted him for Fighter of the Year. You did not, so he is not. End of story.

: Whatever you say Hitler... lol The closing statements of someone who just got the shit kicked out of them by logic combined with facts, history, precedent, etc. No one got shit kicked... it's a difference in opinion. However, I believe it was your closing statement and being stubborn fool who can't admit that he might have fucked up a little on something cuz he believes himself to be perfect. "Daley was in a shit load of Fight of the Night fights, and you could have submitted him for Fighter of the Year. You did not, so he is not. End of story." But hey, believe what you want... you always do anyways. Why should this be any different? The funny thing is that it's also coming from the guy that say's "the awards are the leagues (right now), not mine". So are they really the leagues? I mean, if a member feels that you missed something in your "informed" decisions and chooses to vote off the board, should that not be taken into consideration? I think it should if you truly believe that "the awards are the leagues (right now)" and not yours. Just some food for thought.

However, I believe it was your closing statement and being stubborn fool who can't admit that he might have fucked up a little on something cuz he believes himself to be perfect. I didn't fuck up. I didn't think Daley deserved it then, and I don't think he deserves it now. If anyone fucked up, it's you for not doing the required research and putting in a nomination for him when I asked people for them. Time to "suck it up, buttercup" as you say, and move on with our lives.
