awwww you two are so cute.
Also, I don't think that the rules for posts are the same as for something more technical like an essay or article you wish to publish. This is a fleeting medium, the 'mistakes' or choices made when writing should be similar. We choose which errors we make or care not to correct based on the context. That's what keeps English alive and let's other languages die. For example, I will totally agree on Sandman calling me out for the incorrect use of "you're" because it changes the meaning of the sentence. However, incorrect punctuation, unless changing the meaning can slide. Agree? Disagree? Feel like you're back in English 101?

I'm currently taking a writing course associated with house inspections.. and we talked about comas changing the meaning of a sentence.. for example: Lets eat grandpa! means something different from Lets eat, Grandpa!
I agree with ferocity she wins the discussion game!

I also agree with Ferocity. If we want to replace words that mean certain things with whatever the fuck we want, we should be able to do so. For example, today I decided to permanently replace "giraffe" with "cuntwhistle" and "lion" with "twat-rock", since English is fluid and such. Tomorrow I am going to my 5 year old's kindergarten class to talk about her trip to the African Lion Safari. I expect it to go very well.
