1) Not sure if I am comfortable straight-up trading XP for Points at this time, but more importantly,
2) If I were, the current established value of points is 3 points = 10XP
3) The "as acquired" does not balance enough to make this trade make any sense.


Since you will scream about my "as acquired" deal with PHX, the difference was it was a CLEAR loan on a points for points trade. The "as acquired" part was clearly-defined interest for lending him points for an upgrade. Here, there is no interest, and the value is far too lop-sided.

so what would the xp need to be then for 4 points? 12? i'd still accept dunno about phx. as aquired meant as he gets xp back he would pay me back.

12-13XP for the BASE trade. But the "as acquired" part means there needs to be interest. So given the rate PHX and I established (2 points interest), we'd be looking at something like 16-18 XP in a trade like this. But when people like Storm are frustrated that others can acquire points at a much faster rate than he (true or not), I am on the fence about a trade like this. Sorry, I will get back to you guys REALLY ReaLLY soon about this.

I actually offered 8-10 XP initially and GAP only asked for/wanted 8 back in return for his points. And you sorta hit the nail on the head with your previous comment cuz you can't really say it's only ok to do a deal structured sort of like this if you're involved in it, no one else can?! Really? That's kinda bias on your part isn't it Sandman?

It one case yes, they are different, however, with the fact that GAP's exclusively an ML team, his XP are effectively points to him anyways because he's only upgrading ML fighters. So in reality, his XP economy is effectively the same as our point economy.

HammerFists is looking into various other ways he can use his points in ways that make sense, and since he has no use for points, as you have pointed out, Mike and I will probably implement a new system for him to earn rewards that are exclusive to ML. Because, as you said, ManMMA points are completely useless to GAP. And you are right, so he doesn't need to earn any anymore.
