Hahah Yeah, I first saw that on the GMX, when people started following "The Owner". I am sure you know this, but all it really means is that when you say something, that person is notified. It's not really as creepy as it sounds, hahaha.

oh I totally know, I just think it's one more example of how dynamic language is and how context is EVERYTHING. On the site, I'm like 'oh cool' someone is silly enough to follow my posts. In pretty much any other context, I'm like 'WHO the fuck is following me? and how is that ok?" CREEPY.
I was going to explain all this in the original post, but I thought people would know I was joking. Also... if I scared Phoenix do I get a message that says:
Phoenix stopped following you?
