I feel this number 1 contender match needs a touch of justification.
- Kimbo is there because he is undefeated, but a bit untested.
- Cro Cop has beaten both Machida and dos Santos.
This creates a great test for Kimbo against an elite opponent who has beaten two Champion-quality opponents, OR sets up a worthy title rematch between dos Santos/Machida vs. Cro Cop

I'm obviously rooting for the Slice as well, but I honestly think he will get destroyed by Cro Cop.

not sure why Cro Cop always getting title shots for. he had 2 with Anderson now #1 contender match again ffs that's why i'm rooting for kimbo Id rather see Velasquez vs kimbo for contendership seeing as cro cop already had an easy rematch without conterdership match vs JDS or someone when him and JDS had same record but JDS having more fighter awards bonuses, but JDS would love 2 avenge his tourney loss to Cro Cop

Cain is 5-2, but his losses came to people like Machida and Anderson. Cro Cop has beaten both the champ and the #1 contender, so that keeps him in the hunt. If he loses, then he will fall farther down the ranks. |
