August 23/24 2013 Rogers Arena, Vancouver, BC CANADAA new, innovative and exciting concept brought to you by ManMMA Central Scouting. New Blood Rising is a new PPV idea designed to help the GM's of ManMMA see and experience what talent is available that have not yet graced the ManMMA cage.
New Blood Rising is a 16 fight event that features 4 fights from each of ManMMA's fine weight classes; HW, MW, LW & FW allowing GM's to see first hand some of the talent that is available come draft time. The inaugural card will be posted either later tonight (Wednesday) or early tomorrow (Thursday) with the event scheduled for Friday afternoon (or Saturday).
We hope that this will be an exciting and informative event for ManMMA with the expectation of possibly doing more like it in the future if all goes well.
***NOTE: Standard Predictor Format will be in effect and a point awarded to the winner.*** Thank you & Enjoy.

well if the idea is to ecite people about up and comming fighters you can draft.. then doing it just before he draft and maybe after the draft would be a good idea.. but you want to keep main focus on fighters that are on teams

We don;t want to back-load the season with all the cool stuff coming at the end, so its good to have something in the middle to split the season up. I like having this at the half-way point.

This is a great idea. Mid season is ok too- the information is going anywhere and can be looked up later for the draft.
