Cruz gets shafted on the tournament again?! He lost his last fight, and has a losing record on the season thus far. Everyone else here won thier last fight with the exception of Penn, who has a winning record, had no one else to fight, and was way overdue for a fight.

Everyone else here won thier last fight with the exception of Penn, who has a winning record, had no one else to fight, and was way overdue for a fight. There goes the selective reading again. (Read the rest of it.) Plus, your reasoning still doesn't make it any more right. Cruz should've been put in the tournament after his win over Benson. Period. He wasn't, now he's gotta wait til next season. It's bad any which way you slice it.

Yeah, I explained that before. The tournament he missed was one for people who hadn't had a shot in a while since the LW tournament winners were starting to develop a pattern. If Cruz was worthy of his title shot (or tournament place) he would have won his next fight. He didn't, so his season record sits at 1-2. Everyone else in this tournament has a season-winning record except Maynard. NOW. If you want to talk to Byron about switching Maynard for Cruz, I would be open to that. If not, Cruz will almost certainly be on Zenith.

His last fight went to a decision, it's not like he got KO'd or submitted or something... That'd be WAY different. But whatever... Zenith is fine, it's just he deserved the tourney after the Benson win is all. I really do feel like I got shafted on that one since that was the first time he'd beaten Benson EVER. Kind of a kick in the teeth really.

Here, let's just replace Anthony Pettis with Cruz. Best of both worlds.

Nah, Pettis has earned his spot.

Nah, Pettis has earned his spot. So did Cruz by beating Benson, but that wasn't taken into consideration at the time either. Thanks for the offer though Dogs. It is appreciated, even if Sandman wants to continue being a jerk.

Yeah, giving other teams' fighters a chance at a title shot is being a massive jerk.

Sure... try and turn it around to make me look like the "bad guy". : ROFL The fact is Cruz had earned a spot in the last tournament; emphatically no less, but you chose to not give him his due, even after he defeated someone he'd never beat before. So yah, that part of it is actually you being a massive jerk, whether it was giving other teams' fighters a chance at a title shot or not, it doesn't matter. Cruz earned it and you shit all over it by not putting him in the last tournament. Simple. But what's done is done. Just don't sit there and hide behind "I was other people a chance" when you knew damn well he deserved it after beating Benson.

Then go complain at the last tournament. This tournament, he is not in because he lost his last fight and has a losing record on the season. You may have missed it, but I did the exact same thing with 3 of my own fighters this year to get variety in the tournaments. I'll tell you what I tell my guys - Better luck next year.
