This was brought up in another thread because I noticed that sandmen owns all the belts. I feel that due to him being the highest point producer of last season and since he has the best fighters due to all the upgrades that has been done to his fighters.. Something should be done. If you feel the same way but don't agree this is the best way to handle this issue then please comment. I am only looking to even the playing field in order to give everyone on this site an equal chance. If you feel that I am totally out to lunch and only trying to pick on Sandmen due to his success then feel free to comment but know that your wrong. This is NOT an attack on Sandmen.. Another way of dealing with this problem is to simply say whoever earns the most points per season must pay back the person who earns the least an amount of points equal to the difference between the top point producer and the second top producer. Just a thought. Let's see what you guys think/feel. Please keep comments constructive though.

I think his post to point ratio is fine. The site is for fun. Everyone else has and has received significant point boosts (he and Kruze gave people points based on 25 posts per point a season or 2 ago) so it really comes down to participation. Kruze and Sandman both have to post a lot more to get a point compared to you and I, and they've given back repeatedly.

But I have struggled to get where I am.. I see no struggling from Sandmen.. because he gets to post 1000 posts a day simply because he has to in order to keep the site functioning properly.. the fact he is owning all the belts is a joke. Especially the owner of the site should not be in that position it looks bad on him and the site. I think he needs to be hindered more or we just see him owning all the belts for a long time.. unless there is a fluke flash ko or something. I certainly did not get a 25 post to point ratio. I'm just satying with him having all the belts it really looks bad.. For example if i decided to run a site like this and I only ever held the belts how bad would that look on me and how long would people want to play? answer... not long.

I've broken down the math over 10 times for my post ratio on this site now. This issue was resolved about a year ago. It is not changing now, nor any time soon. Period.

Carano
Last Upgrade: June 21, 2013
Hansen
Last Upgrade: July 31, 2013
Le
Last Upgrade: 1 before title fight, before that October 15, 2013 (prior to a title fight he lost)
Cro Cop
Last Upgrade: January 28, 2013
If we had a problem with the amount of points I was putting into these 4 fighters (especially Cro Cop - the one everyone seems to be up in arms about), January 28, 2013 would have been the time to complain about him - not now, a year later.

If we want to go the route of how hard people have to "work" for points, I literally "work" as hard as GAP and PHX combined, and have half as many points to show for it.

I am mostly concerned that you have all 4 belts and that is a new development. Your blatent disregard to even want me to post this vote up and your blatent refusal to change anything.. shows that maybe there is some underhandedness going on. You are receiving more points than anyone.. That is also current info. Should you be getting more points than anyone? NO!! Should you be on the top of the league as the owner and operator of this site? or should your enjoyment of this site be based on making everyone else have fun and ensure fairness? I'll let you think about it. But seriously dude you need to consider what is best for this site instead of blatently refusing to change anything for the betterment of this site. You need to change your ways regardless of what you think. Get off your high horse and lets talk about this because i want this site to run fairly and without back door shenanigans which you are currently using.

No, it shows a complete ignorance on your part at this time. No one cared when Ramrod had 3 belts and nearly 4; he got congratulated. I upgrade a guy a year ago, he wins a belt now (that anyone who has been on the site for more than a week knows he will not hold), and we go ape shit? No time for this crap when I have about 3 hours of behind the scenes work to do just to get the next card up.
Do your research beyond "how it looks", and we'll talk then if you still thing there is a problem.

Wait a second.. lets just use last season.. since last season you were on your current post per point rate. How many points did you make all things included? 44 points. How many did I? 40 points and how many did phoenix (33 points) since you have brought his stat into this. Last season I busted my ass to try to be a high end poster. But still its not good enough. I may not do it again.. I don't know yet. I just don't think the guy running the show should be gaining as much as what we are. You should be providing a fair fun game and currently you are lacking in your role cause it's not fair. Your comment about "I literally work as hard as gap and phx combined and have half as many points to show for it" is exactly how it should be for the guy running the site. Here's an idea.. for one season.. everytime i make 2 points you can make one. how about that for fairness? |

I have not said anything about any fighter specifically. You haven't had to upgrade your guys for awhile cause they have been really good for a couple seasons.. It's only recently they have become champions. But I'm saying it's not good to see how many points you have to use when others can't make up the same numbers.
