This was really interesting. Much more than I thought it would be. Aoki basically took Sanchez down at will, controlled him, and did massive submission attempting. But while he was doing that, Sanchez was hitting him. And that hitting was doing a lot more damage that what Aoki was doing with his subs - but there's no way Aoki could have lost the first 2 rounds and probably the third, based on control, domination, and submission offense. He could, however, have lost it on damage received, which would be counter to GAP's argument about what should matter in a fight. Who knows. In the end, Sanchez made sure there was no controversy. Well....small cuts are controversial, so maybe there is some, but what can you do. I enjoyed this fight, as style clashes are interesting!

This was really interesting. Much more than I thought it would be. Aoki basically took Sanchez down at will, controlled him, and did massive submission attempting. But while he was doing that, Sanchez was hitting him. And that hitting was doing a lot more damage that what Aoki was doing with his subs - but there's no way Aoki could have lost the first 2 rounds and probably the third, based on control, domination, and submission offense. He could, however, have lost it on damage received, which would be counter to GAP's argument about what should matter in a fight. Who knows. In the end, Sanchez made sure there was no controversy. Well....small cuts are controversial, so maybe there is some, but what can you do. I enjoyed this fight, as style clashes are interesting!
