It has to do with Friday's fight. Mark Hunt vs. Antonio Silva. Check it out.

GAP, go fuck yourself. Silva vs. Hunt was one of the best fights i've seen ever. And remember, I'm new to this MMA crap.
Honestly, I'd rank that fight slightly higher than the Bonnar/Griffin fight at the TUF finale.

This fight surprised the hell out of me, and I was totally fine with the end result. Since those participating in this thread either saw it or didn't give a fuck about it's existence, the draw was a perfect ending. I'd love to see a rematch, but I think that having those two fight again needs to either be A. on PPV because everyone would want to see it, but also B. would never be as good as the first one, and someone would get finished and we'd all be "ah man" and it might ruin what this fight did for the sport once again.
Fucking warriors.

It's an interesting debate. Did Griffin-Bonnar 2 ruin Griffin-Bonnar 1? I don't think it would be as good as the first, but it would still probably be worth seeing. And the thing is, if the UFC meant for that fight to matter, a rematch is almost necessary. If it was a fuck-off fight, then it never mattered who won in the first place.

It's really difficult to say if it does deserve a second go at it. A lot of rematches are usually boring or a one sided shit show (in my opinion, obviously), so perhaps keeping this match under the water and perhaps giving it a main card match at a PPV would work.

That was from 2009. But yes, that was a classic for sure. I don't like Diego, but he always brings it and his fights are often very very good.
