K, so I desperately need to make some CDs for in car long drives (as required by my job) and wondered if anyone had any suggestions? I'm thinking your fave songs from the past 5 years or so...

xx - Team GAP, I'm pretty broad minded musically. I don't deal well with some rap/hip hop, mostly because I have no interest in listening to men disrespect their bitches. I enjoy classical, but don't listen to a lot of it, mostly because I like to sing along. I love guitar and piano...

hmmm... I always forget about Great Big Sea. I will check what they've done lately. I heard them in concert on the radio in the summer and enjoyed it.

The West Coast Knockouts, honestly, I didn't give this song a chance because of the *cough, cough* artists that created it. But... this little ditty truly is catchy if nothing else.... I have a feeling I will be singing it while driving to work ect even if I don't want to be.

"I just bought a Kesha CD, I'm so Keshamed." -Max Black, 2 Broke Girls
Umm... That being said though, I'm more of a classic rock/metal kinda guy, so there's not allot newer stuff from some of these, but Collective Soul, 54*40, Slash (w/Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators; for newer stuff), Buckcherry's got a few good ones (Cold Hard Bitch, Lit Up Again), is good, particularly for driving and singing along in the car. And Nickelback's actually got a few good ripper/driving songs out there too, depending on your tastes... I know not everyone likes Nickelback. lol
