Though we have always had challenges, I've cleaned this concept up a bit with making an official Challenges thread in the Babble Section. Here, you can propose a challenge to anyone, or be challenged by anyone. No one has to accept, but when they are done with interesting trash talk, they can be very fun and add intrigue to a card.
You can challenge a title holder to a catchweight bout (with someone above or below them in weight class), but you cannot challenge a title holder to a title fight, or a same-class fight.
As simmer, I will do my best to get these on the next card, but sometimes scheduling may force me to move them to the card after or something. No worries though, as long as it's not a title fight, if 2 people accept a fight, it will happen.
So to re-iterate. You post your initial challenge in this thread.
Once it has been accepted by the other party (and the league), it is moves to accepted challenges. If the other party rejects it (as they have the right to do) or if there is a league or functional problem with it (challenging a champion, injured fighter, or a very valid reason for a league reject), it is moved to rejected challenges.
