@kadri43, You'll find it happens sometimes on Proboards.... wait... you've been on Proboards before so you already knew this. so you were just being an asshole. I get it now. xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club, it was meant as one. Your gals are no longer pitiable (well most of them) and that is a testament to your dedication to them. They certainly sucked when they joined the league.

You know the more I thought about this project the more opposed i am to the idea. I just don't see the need.

The need is that the Sandman team is too strong (or so say some of the members of this site) and this will spread out the points from that team, meaning Sandman won't get stronger. He already does this by setting his point ratio higher than normal people's, and now he wants to attempt a second team. Personally, I wouldn't do this, but I don't see any real reason why he can't. I wouldn't object to anyone else having a second team either.

but he could just add people to his current roster and it would do the same thing and be less confusing.. I can see this actually make Sandmen stronger in the long run.. it just means he will have 2 amazing teams instead of one... and really i think Sandmen's team isn't as strong as it used to be. I mostly think he just makes too many points... course that's cause he makes trades with people where he gets 4 points for a fighter and he buys a new fighter for 2 and he has enough points to upgrade them quickly so people will want his fighters.. if sandmen is making too many points then he needs to be hindered more. more posts per point. not making a new team... it just doesn't make sense.. at first I was ok with it but I'm really starting to think it's a bad idea the more I think about it.

I would say all of this was reasonable except Sandman didn't have the best team last year. I did. And it sure wasn't because I had too many points. He hasn't had the best team many seasons ( The Sandmen, you want to list 'em? I'm too lazy to look it up, even though I'm sure you have it on here somewhere). Also, if we can make this site more engaging for people we should do it. We've all seen sites fold because the simmer gave up or lost interest.

but he could just add people to his current roster and it would do the same thing It would be totally different. I would not have a Team Canada when I have Anderson Silva, Ben Askren, Cung Le, etc. My team is as un-Canadian as you can get. So I want another one that is unified under that commonality. Think of it this way. You like the Winnipeg Jets. Lets say I have a team of 25 players. They are not jets players, so you don't care about them. But then, lets say every single one of them is traded to the Jets. Now you like them because they are part of that team. That is what I am doing. Taking a team of people I don't really care about, giving them a commonality, and getting behind that. The Sandmen is my team of guys I like (so lets say a Fantasy team) and my new team would be my Winnipeg Jets. Rag tag group of mediocre-at-best fighters trying to be a good team, rather than the group of individuals my Sandmen team is. You do not get that same impact by adding them to your current team. Not in the slightest, or I would do that (its less expensive for me that way).

you could always trade for guys you like. I just think it sounds like your making excuses to get away with something... instead of doing things the easy and fair way.

Tell me what I am getting away with. By all means. If you guys want me to keep upgrading my current team, I totally will. This spread my points out across at least 3 more fighters. I will not be getting those fighters with 1 team. I am only explaining it to you constantly because you are missing something with the core concept, or with how I am explaining it. I want the second team to have everyone on THAT team united under a banner separate from The Sandmen. It's really that simple.
