Aside from Carano crushing D'Alelio again to silence that whole debacle, this fight is probably the one I have been most looking forward to. A jacked Diego, perpetual contender, vs. BJ 2.0, a new super-threat at Lightweight. This probably should have been the final, as I think neither Aoki nor Guillard stand a chance against either.

Damnit, that is not the type of finish I was wanting here at all. Diego was doing beefy damage in the clinch and probably would have been happy continuing with that. But when they separated, Penn got the (much) better of the boxing and was starting to wear Diego down with that, and that is where we left off. Wore him down, cut him, busted up his eye, and the doctor stopped this one. Penn 2.0 has arrived.
