I agree, but Devil's Advocate Danny could argue that it's an external, mood-altering substance that would allow you to train longer while injured, or relieve pain, etc.
Devil's Advocate Danny also reminds us that it's federally illegal. So there's that.

It is widely found to be illegal. Drugs.. of any kind (Illegal ones). Have no place in sports.Over the counter drugs for colds.. fine. but thats it. I don't care if it's not a performance enhancer. point is the drug is illegal and it should not be used by a "professional athlete" if you are a professional athlete you should stay away from drugs. If you test positive for a drug.. ban them from fighting

I agree with a lot of that, but xx - Team GAP, where do you stand with guys like Matt Riddle, or Nick Diaz, who are medically prescribed marijuana for anxiety-related issues by a professional, in a State where it is legal?

If your diagnosed with an ailment where you need to take a drug which is illegal for the entire world (except a few places) You need to make a decision... what profession should i take up now? The rules should be black and white not grey (or gray).. in this profession.. NO Drugs allowed.

If you have to hide the fact your doing a drug... maybe.. just maybe you as a professional shouldn't be doing them. If it's legal in your state you can do drugs and fight as a mma fighter in that state only. Thats your choice but if your looking to be in a world wide organization that travels to other countries... NO drugs allowed... no grey areas.. no buts.. no arguements.. IT IS NOT ALLOWED

In the cases I listed, they do not hide it. They usually apply for an exemption, since they have doctors notes, etc (much like people do with TRT). In some states, I do not believe it is even a banned substance when the drug tests come back.

She was stupid. She should have smoked up, said, yes, I smoke up. Situation finished cause nobody cares.
Regarding drugs in sports... athletes take drugs, take thousands of substances that aren't labeled drugs but that alter their bodies in ways that they hope improve their performance. I think the issue is saying which substances are good and which are bad- it's not that simple and pretending it is just continues the problem.

What is simple though is kiddie diddling. Never a good idea. No grey area, and no exceptions.

I've expressed my opinion on marijuana so many times, it's tiring to say it again, so I'll sim it up in one sentence.
Weed should stay illegal, and only used for cancer treatment.
Only reason I say this does involve with my nephew. If you want to know, find me elsewhere (only Justin and Micheal have me on Skype and Facebook, so....yeah)
Anyways, Eye should be ashamed of herself. She had the potential of being a premiere female fighter, but just like the article said, she blew it up in smoke. I never cared about her, now I care even less (if that's even possible)

I do not know the details of Underdogs' personal family situation, so I do not say this to be related to that, but furthering what he said about cancer treatment. 1) I think any terminal anything should be exempt from anything related to drugs. If my93 year old grandfather is doing to die in a month due to lung cancer and wants to take some crystal meth before he dies? Who gives a fuck. If he wants some Oxycotin, who cares.
In regards to marijuana more generally, I am not in any way a user of the herb, but I have dabbled in the past. I will say, as a person who sometimes suffers from anxieties, I have felt the calming effects of the drug. I don't think it is any worse for people than nicotine, and I think if we are keeping cigarettes legal, marijuana should be also. It is not addictive, it is not dangerous (any more than smoking anything is), and has many, MANY medical properties to it that can help a great many things (from Parkinson's, to cancer, to radiation treatment side effects, the list goes on for months).
