Here's what I'm looking to do, and it could be incredibly beneficial for you in the end.
I'm looking at acquiring under-performing legends. Guys that have a name. Guys who are pioneers for the sport. Guys that just can't seem to get over the hump.
Here's what I do:
I look at the fighter that is offered to me, and I build him accordingly to what he has done in the past - his style, his forte, his roots. I make him a contender and I make him relevant to the sport on this site, as he/she should be.
What happens next?
I see if he has what it takes to compete for a title. My glory comes in the form of adding more belts to my signature, but it's not just about the belts. It's about WHO gets the belt.
My track record?
Mark Coleman - HW Champ Wanderlei Silva - MW Champ Marloes Coenen - Perennial top contender Andrei Arlovki - Has fought for title on multiple occasions
Other fighters I've worked on?
Junior dos Santos Cain Velasquez Kimbo Slice Rich Franklin
What I'm offering?
Randy Couture - recently pumped up to near perfection. He fights the way you want him to fight. He is a top contender immediately in the HW division and he isn't capped. You can still commit more points to him, but the heavy lifting is done.
What about the long haul?
I am a project-fighter builder. It's what I do. You trade me a legend now, you'll probably get him back later on when he's in the prime of his glory.
Think of it as an investment program.
You trade me a legend, and I'll give you a champion.

A good deal. People should do this. Though I think most of the weaker teams are now better than ROcketmen, due to excess of charity.

Thanks for the compliments, but so far the only "legend" I've been offered is Shane Carwin, and that's not exactly what I'm looking for.

The free agent list is full of them. Ken Shamrock Frank Mir Evan Tanner Jeremy Horn Rickson Gracie Carlos Newton Marco Ruas, Gary Goodridge Kenny Florian Nate Diaz Kid Yamamoto Dennis Hallman Renan Barao Caol Uno Tatsuya Kawajiri
okay, so primarily the top 5 on that list or so, but there are still some beefy peeps on there.

no, but he was trying to trade off of current teams therefore helping them first if possible. Or at least that's how I understood it.
