I sympathize with Bulldozer's life experiences, I really do. But your perspective on life seems to be how everything directly impacts you, and I'm sorry to say that you, me, everyone on this site, we are completely meaningless. People who are oppressed in countries are considered meaningless. Politics runs the world, and extremists groups will always be there. The way you're talking, you do come across as a bit of an extremist, but I know it's because of an incredibly emotional tie you have.
But the difference here is that you literally wish ill things over an entire country. I don't. Nothing has ever happened in my life that I can hate people that much. Nothing has happened in the world that makes me hate people that much.
I'm a history major, and I LOVE how crazy the world is. I respect it for what it is, because to understand why it is the way it is now, you need to go alllll the way back and see how society was created in that location, what they underwent over the centuries, how perspectives were formed, why a country makes decisions the way they do, etc.
Simply looking at life through your goggles AS A CANADIAN because you visited people a few times, and casting a real dark judgment over them simply from your 16 years alive is wrong, narrow-minded, ignorant, and irresponsible.
You owe it to yourself to educate yourself on WHY these things are happening rather than HATING on them because it is happening.
I seriously understand why you're so emotional, but I'm stressing that you understand that with time and education, a lot of this will pass.
Don't focus on the things you can't change. Focus on the things you can.
Your mother did that when she married her way into Canada and gave you a better life. Going back is more of a reminder of where your lineage came from. You should be appreciative of that fact instead of hating on how people you know are living over there.
Count your blessings, Bulldozers. Your mom is your hero.

My 22 year old cousin that lives in Israel has even said that they are bad and the Israeli Jews are horrible. So I'm not only looking at it from my perspective, I am also going from my cousin's perspective since he has been living there all his life.

Alright. I talked to someone in Alabama who told me how bad black people are. Let's kill them all. After all, it is his perspective and he should know best because he lives around black people.

You do realize that as bad as what your family might be going through, the fact that you're even able to visit them, and they are alive, tells me that it's not that bad.

Did I say I wanted to kill them?? No, so stop putting words in my mouth. I hate what Hitler did. I do not think that killing the Jews is gonna solve anything. Hitler made the look innocent by killing them. And yes him going after the whole race was bad. As I said I hate Israeli Jews, not Polish Jews or any other kind of individual of the Jewish faith. I only hate Israeli Jews. Do you know why Hitler wanted to kill the Jews?? He read in a book all of the bad things that the Jews did. Now I'm not saying that what he did was the best thing or the smarted thing (frankly it was the dumbest thing he could've done). But now because of what Hitler did everybody thinks that the Jews are innocent people. Our school curriculum is telling us that Jews are innocent people. If they went to Israel for month they would see how they are teaching us lies. Use the Middle East as an example. You always see Israel in a war with another country, you hardly ever see two countries in the Middle East fighting that doesn't include Israel. This song actually tells you what I have been saying. Now if you watched Borat before you probably didn't understand what the song was about and why he was saying what he was saying. Yes Borat was a comedy but it actually does hold a lot of truth in what is happening in the Middle East.
