I think this could be incredibly interesting, especially with everyone sort of waiting for more points for their fighters, to be able to participate in this as well could be beneficial to earn fighter points as well as enjoy a side game. xx - Team GAP is apparently a great D&D master, so perhaps he could manage this, but I googled forum-based D&D and found a few things that we could build off of, if people are interested and if this could work...? I'm posing that question to anyone that is looking to really take control of this aspect. From a forum-based D&D - Dice Rolls: This is how the dice system works. 1.) The player explains their action, being as detailed as they wish. 2.) At the bottom of the page, you must post the following in brachets. [ Name of Skill you are using / type of die / Ability modifier (if any) ] Example: [ Jump / d20 / +3 ] Basic Rules from Forum-Bases D&D site:This campaign runs on the v3.5 core rules. These are the Rules of the forum: In-Game 1.) Keep OOC (out of character) dialogue in the Game section to a minimum! - I will let you know if the OOC'ing becomes too much. 2.) Do NOT be an annoyance! - this includes whining and moaning if things don't go your way. 3.) Spamming in the Game section is strictly prohibited. 4.) During game-time, you are required to post at least once a day. If you are unable to, then you must leave an absence notice in advance. General Forum 1.) Be a good poster - Don't worry, this rule is hard to break. 2.) Once again, Do NOT be an annoyance! 3.) No racism. 4.) If you flood the boards with advertisements, you will be punished. If a rule is broken, you will be let off with a warning. On second offense, it will result in a temporary suspension, on third offense, your fate will be determined by the members of the forum. Of course, remember the Proper Poster's Etiquette. This means giving someone a karma point if they make a post you really, really like, or giving them a negative karma point if they make a bad post. Hills of Fire is an invite-only forum. Over all, DO have fun Thoughts?

I could do this but it would require anyone interested to make characters... and as the dm.. i would keep my rolls secret and would post what happens based on your rolls and based on any opposed rolls. 3.5 was my bag.

I think this could be great. Is there somewhere for easy use for those not used to this game we can review for character creation?

Cool, so how many stats and whatnot do we get? If you have 4 6-sided die, roll for 3 sections of 6 (re-roll all 1's, 3 highest numbers) and pick what you think would be best for your character. Then, just assign the numbers to whatever stat that is best.

the stats are strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, charisma. I personally like roll 3 six sided dice and re-roll 1's once add them up and place how you wish..

www.random.org/dice/Excellent: 3, 5, 5 So I start with 13? Now I'm using the Stats options provided by GAP: Strength - 2 Dexterity - 2 Constitution - 2 Intelligence - 3 Wisdom - 2 Charisma - 2 Character Name: Retamedt OlixinRace: Human Starting Class: Wizard Am I missing anything else? Or can this be used as a potential guide for all players? Nah, not quite in terms of stats. You'll get destroyed on the first encounter. It's something like this: Roll 4 6-sided dice 6 times (re-roll 1's), it should look something like this 13, 10, 14, 16, 18, 11 11, 11, 15, 14, 17, 12 10, 18, 18, 9, 6, 14 Out of the 3 sections of 6, pick one section, and allocate the different numbers to each category skill Strength - 18 Dexterety - 10 etc., etc.

www.random.org/dice/Roll 4 six-sided dice 6 times. Do this 3 times and select one of the 3 combinations of 6 rolls. 16, 15, 13, 16, 10, 14. 18, 17, 11, 12, 15, 17.12, 13, 13, 18, 11, 17. Now I'm using the Stats options provided by GAP: Strength - 18 Dexterity - 17 Constitution - 11 Intelligence - 17 Wisdom - 15 Charisma - 12 Character Name: Retamedt OlixinRace: Human Starting Class: Wizard How's that? Better, now apply those stats onto the site I gave everyone, and it should give you modifiers and skill points as well.

I think people should randomize their name as well using that website as it displays some pretty funny/awesome options: Name: Aw Pu Race: Human Starting Class: Wizard Alignment: True Neutral Religion: Boccob (god of magic) Select Manually Enter Abilities Scores - this will generate the Modifiers automatically Strength - 18 - Mod: 4 Dexterity - 17 - Mod: 3 Constitution - 11 - Mod: 0 Intelligence - 17 - Mod: 3 Wisdom - 15 - Mod: 2 Charisma - 12 - Mod: 1 Once completed, I selected "save to file" and it generated this: View AttachmentJust do what I did to post all things. There's a "Display Character" button after all the Skills/Feats/Equipment buttons. You'll have to grind, though, by typing every single thing. Can't copy & paste here.
