Fo: "Care to wait up Puck? I understand wanting to get in and out fast, but let's see if we can figure out what we're getting ourselves into. Now, let me see if I can figure this out. I've read Dwarvern before."
[ Decipher Script / d20 / +4 ] I roll an 11, add in my 4, so my Decipher is a 15.
[ Initiative Check / d20 / +4 ] I roll a 16, add in my 4, so my Imitative Check is 20.

Fuch: "Any word on what you get out of it? I too can read the Dwarven, but I guess I can sit back and allow the rookie to figure out what these stones of wisdom and wonder inform of its visitor."
*Fuch leans against the wall, doesn't give his name.*

Xerdan: "Guys, I'm a dwarf! You guys are so eager to do stuff, and not realize that we can do some easy stuff by letting the dwarf read Dawrven!"

*Puck looks back, shakes his head, draws his longsword and continues into the passage*
Puck: Bunch of nonsense

Fo: "Sorry about that, got a bit too eager. I really should think to let those who speak Dwarvern read Dwarvern."
OOC: You guys going to roll initiative? I know it's usually just for battle, but I did it because GAP asked for it.
Fo: "Something doesn't seem right here. It seems that something important like this would be have protected. Puck, did you look for traps?"
[ Search / d20 / +5 ] I roll a 17, add my 5, so my Search is a 22.

Xerdan: "Do you want to take care of the dumb wizard who doesn't know how to wield a sword? I'll take care of this Dwarven writing."
Xerdan reads the Dwarven scripture carefully.
[Initiative Check/ d20 / +2] Rolled a 13, added 2, results in a 15
OOC: Cor, your character has no skill in Martial weapons, therefore if you plan to attack with that sword, you'll have drawbacks to your attack rolls and damage rolls.

OOC: Since when is Cor a wizard? Michael is the wizard. Cor's the barbarian.

Fuch: Us wizardry fellas always assess the situation before moving forward. If Puch wants to die on the first day, that's his choice to make. I recall another once unwisely wizard who learned life the hard way indeed. His name was Parry Hotter. Bad dude.

Fo: Puck, I feel that it would be very irrational to rush in there without knowing what we're getting into. Let's just see what the script say, and let's see if there's any traps around here.

Xerdan:"Let him get killed, what's one loss gonna do to us?"

Fuch: " Hah, yeah. Giant DOUCHE maybe..."
*Fuch looks around and finds no support, not even a smile. He sees a Leaf. He removes his quarter staff and points at it, then opts not to use a spell and instead steps on it. He laughs to himself.*

Conor: Simmer down fellas... there's no need to get ahead of ourselfves here. Fo, what are you seeing from those Runes?
***Conor looks around*** 13 + 3 = 16 Spot Check

OOC: Is there a list of what we can do on a given turn like these spot checks and stuff somewhere we can use as a guide? I can probably see us n00bs finding a more appropriate means of dialogue and action by guiding it around some of these actions.
