What about real life Anderson fights? He never wins within a minute because he gauges his opponents reach and striking patterns for the first 1-2 mins (or rounds)? Do you find that more boring (or less boring) He's kinda doing something, from a technical standpoint, and his fights last a round or two.

I don't think it's about boring.. fights are not usually boring.. but they are technical. The more technical the more boring a fight is to the untrained eye. BUT I personally like a fight that lasts a bit because it shows you have two highly trained people who can take a hit or two and they can slug it out. 45 second fights to me could just be luck.

Seriously, though, I don't think it's fair to call a clean KO luck, anymore than a clean submission luck. You made yourself be in the right place at the right time. You made that shit happen. Look at Anderson-Weidman 1. Not a lot of people give Weidman credit for that - but was anyone else able to hit Anderon when he did that? no, they were not. Speed, skill, technique, timing. It's all part of a KO, whether its in 10 seconds or 10 rounds.

That said, I still obviously prefer a real fight to a 30 second one too. The best are 3-4 round back and forth fights that do NOT end in a decision. Lopsided long fights are just as bad, if not worse, than a 30 second KO. Dillashaw-Barao for example.
