So while I'm never disappointed in a Le-St-Pierre fight, I don't think the judges got this decision right at all (I left damage in so y'all could see my team-bias was a non-issue in that statement). Normally, my go-to as a reason for the judges call would be takedowns, but even those are not that far off, with GSP edging Le 5-3. Le had a lot more health at the end of the fight than GSP, and neither man was anywhere near a finish (5 rounds is not enough to hold a Le-GSP fight). Meh well, what can ya do.

So while I'm never disappointed in a Le-St-Pierre fight, I don't think the judges got this decision right at all (I left damage in so y'all could see my team-bias was a non-issue in that statement). Normally, my go-to as a reason for the judges call would be takedowns, but even those are not that far off, with GSP edging Le 5-3. Le had a lot more health at the end of the fight than GSP, and neither man was anywhere near a finish (5 rounds is not enough to hold a Le-GSP fight). Meh well, what can ya do.
