you never pay it back... always pay it forward. unless paying it back is paying it forward.

I honestly think it's become a bigger issue than it really needs to be... Just for the simple reason that, if it were me in Rocketman's position right now, most folks would be "too bad, so sad" you gave away your fighter and that's that. And if I were making the same complaints as Rocketmen is, it'd be chalked up as me throwing a "hissy fit" over it and nothing would be done about it. Not meant to start anything, just some food for thought. As for the abolition of the expansion draft, and your concern about relying on charity, is unfounded. Because, whereas there's no obligation to the team that did the gifting, the obligation then falls to the giftee is to pay it forward to someone else.. but they have no obligation to send back the fighter to the team they received it from. IMO If it's a gift, then it's a gift. Period. You're not starting anything, you're just relaying the devils advocate, and in response, Justin is saying the devils advocate for the other side of the coin. You're both right. But now that he is established, I offered him 4 points to return Coenen to me, and he refuses, now she goes to Ducks. If she goes to Ducks or he at least gets something from Bulldozers, then all will be squared away as I would have done the same thing anyways (gotten Cain and/or Coenen back and sent them to Ducks). But again, that depends entirely on whether or not Bulldozers would be willing to part ways with Coenen. I gifted Bulldozers Coenen, Coleman and Cain Velasquez. Maybe he'll pay it forward to Ducks with a couple of solid fighters.

We'll keep em in the auction, we'll close'er Friday, then drop em at some point after that. I don't like just free agenting people cause then it becomes a matter of luck. If you are on at the right time, you lose someone you might want. The auctions let you take that into your own hands and try if you actually want someone.

So does it matter what order they're in?? Just makes it less confusing for Sandman when the auction closes. When you've got a million things on your mind, having things in order makes it easier.
