Wanderlei Silva defends the Middleweight title!
This was an amazing fight. Cung came out with his legs in full force, landing 5/6 kicks within the first minute. He did HUGE damage, leaving Wanderlei with almost no health after af ew follow-up strikes. And the round wasn't even half over. Wanderlei started fighting defensive, got a little offense in here and there and survived the round. My health estimation at the end of the round:

Cung 94%
Between round recovery helped Wanderlei some. He started the 2nd with about 15-20% health, but still at massive disadvantage to Cung's near full health. Then Wanderlei took over completely. He dodged Cung's kicks, and started working his diverse offence. He put together lethal combos, used clinch, ground, everything, and took back the fight, and evened up their health-bars, with both men fighting in the red. Then, Silva capped it off, locking in the submission in the final seconds of the fight, and getting the tap at the bell.
This is by far the most danger Wanderlei has been in at MW since becoming champ, and an amazing show of heart to come back from a 94-8 health deficit. Great comeback, great title fight, great time had by all. Except Cung, who is probably beside himself with how close he came to unseating ManMMA's most dominant MW champion.
