ManMMA and GrappleMuch? owner Cor, have announced that Cor has purchased a percentage of ManMMA. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, althougnh it is rumored that Cor purchased 10% of the company.
In the deal was an agreement that Cor will have an event every year. It is scheduled to take place at the 3rd event every year.
"I am very pleased to announce this deal with ManMMA. My MMA team, team GrappleMuch, is one of the top teams in ManMMA, with fighters such as Frank Mir, George St. Pierre, Rampage Jackson, and Matt Hughes. I am now turning that success into an entire event. There will be a concept to this event. All i can say for now, is.... WELCOME TO GRAPPLEMANIA!" Cor stated.
It is rumored that GrappleMania will feature rematches from the top fights from the past year, while others speculate that it will be a Team GrappleMuch vs ManMMA type versus concept.
