It totally was not a Flash KO. It was the destruction of Fedor by Sylvia.

Once Fedor has a primary strength, I think he will be a lot harder to beat. Right now he is just excellent in everything, but not amazing at anything. Kinda comes back to the Rousey discussion in the other thread. Good all around fighter getting beaten by people who fight more 1-dimensionally. Definitely a shame in Fedor's case.

That does seem to be a bit of a flaw with the simulator, being that your fighters almost have to be 1-dimensional to be any good... that's kind of a shame for everyone.

Yes, but you get into that area with guys like Fedor with Sambo or like Mighty Mouse & Julia Budd with Pankration and they are kinda good at everything really.

Not the point... point is that the simulator expects you to specialize a fighter, even though some fighters are good because they're good at everything.

Yes, but there's inherently a problem when the simmer's pretty much the only one able to do it.

There are literally so many flaws with that statement I don't even have somewhere to start.

1) You are jumping to the false conclusion that somehow having a "good at everything" style is best. It is not. (Wanderlei or Overeem are probably our best P4P fighter here, they have 1 style)

2) You are making some leap in conneciton between being the simmer and making a "good at everything" fighter, when clearly the simmer advocates a single-strength fighter creation method (and does so himself.

3) You are also claiming there is a problem, and a direct connection between myself, my role as simmer, and the problem itself. What is the problem, exactly? What does it have to do with me as simmer? And most importantly, what does me as simmer have to do with ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS THREAD?

It's comments like this that start fights, as you should be able to see from this breakdown. Out of no where, you have implied some sort of cheating or inside information based on me being simmer. You have taken a broad discussion about specialized vs. rounded fighters and somehow dragged my role as simmer into it. Especially disturbing when you know full well that, from the beginning, all I have ever done with Joachim was upgrade his default, program-based build very evenly. 1) IRL, that should be the best style... with exceptions; Rousey etc.
2) & 3) It's no leap. Being the simmer, you see everything we don't... power meters, stamina meters... how a fighter recovers between rounds... yes, you have the memory of a goldfish, but seeing that stuff over and over, you will retain allot of that unconciously just cuz of the nature of your job. Repetition is the best teacher bro... it's not cheating, it just that you have a better working knowledge of what works and what doesn't with the simulator having worked with it an observed what it does and doesn't do. It's not accusing you of cheating, it's simply stating that you know more about the program than anyone cuz you've worked with it for 13 seasons. And I honestly find it laughable that you accuse Cannon, Bullies or me, that have the program, of trying to cheat when you've been accessing that very same information for 260+ cards now. You may not conciously retain it, but judging by your success with your team, fighters and "upgrading right", it's plainly obvious to everyone on the site that there is knowledge being retained by you in being the simmer. It's not cheating... it's just knowledge... knowledge that you're trying to prevent others from having now, even though you're way further ahead on that curve than anyone else would be at this point...
