I feel like when I get slow on simming, and life-drama gets in the way, I feel the need to re-affirm my commitment to this site. So here's that post.
1) I am still 100% committed to this site and simming it. Quite excited still, in fact.
2) I apologize for the major delay in this past sim, and the general slowness that has come bout in the past few weeks.
The general slow-down has come about from a change in my daily schedule that has essentially flipped my sleep and sim routines schedule around about 400 degrees. I am still adjusting to that a month after-the-fact and have had a hard time getting regular life stuff figured out, let alone sims. But we'll get there soon; I promise.
This week's slow-down came about because our cat grew sick, and yesterday we had to put him down. Having a 6 year old makes that process particularly difficult, as I am sure you can imagine.
If I am being really optimistic, our next sim will be either late tonight or some time Sunday. Realistically though, I think it will probably be early next week.
I really appreciate The Rocketmen and The Mighty Ducks maintaining activity in the chat sections during this sim-slowdown, and thanks for those participating in those threads.
Again, I apologize for this slow-down, thank you for your patience, and assure you things will get better. If all goes according to plan, in July I'll be back to 2-3 sims a week. In the mean time, keep up the chatter
