Shinya Aoki defends the Lightweight title!
That was a GOOD lightweight title fight. Both guys are sooooo strong, soooo tough, and soooooo good. Though nothing was a huge factor, the gameplan from Aoki seemed to be survive and wear on Cruz for a bit. So he probably lost the first round and maybe the second (not by a lot and he didn't take a truck load of damage or anything, but he was not winning). Then when he had a noticable stamina advantage over Cruz, he started really working the submissions and wearing Cruz down. Finally he locked in a lethal kimura and finished this on up. Great fight by both guys
