He was never tried in court via a jury of his peers. All we have is the evidence. Just like Snuka. This is actually true... However, in the case of Benoit, no matter what you believe, the fact is that, if he did it, the severe brain damage he'd sustained in his career played a huge factor in the whatever happened at the Benoit house over that weekend... If he didn't, and he was a murdered along with his family, someone went to some painstaking and extraordinary lengths to make it look like Benoit did it himself. We all have our opinion on what we think happened, but that's exactly what it is, an opinion... because the reality that the only people that know/knew concretely what happened in that house, are the people that were in the house that weekend. As for Snuka, it never looks good for you if you have somebody die in your presence or under your care at the best of times, there's no real compelling evidence in this case that he did anything or he would have been charged 30 years ago for it. I mean, the only thing I can see as a bit odd is that he didn't just drive her straight to the hospital right when they got to Allentown, but even then, he's not a doctor. I've seen many folks take a spill and they seem ok then we realize after a while that they need medical attention. It's also not like this woman died in the car or enroute to the hospital, it was the next day. It's sounds more to me like it was an accident and her family are just looking to place blame because death isn't an easy thing to accept... we are human after all. Setting "allegedly" aside, what would you guys call O.J. Simpson. A man legally not criminally guilty, civilly guilty, but who wrote a book about HOW he hypothetically committed the murder he did not commit.  (seriously, what a guy...) I'd call him one seriously weird dude. lol I liked him in the Naked Gun movies though. lol |
