They have removed Hogan & Snuka from the HOF I believe.

It's hard to have a valid wrestling Hall of Fame without Hulk Hogan. Regardless of what he did offstage, there probably would be no WWE today if there was no Hulk Hogan.

I agree, but it's all part and parcel to the "PG Era", but really if any of Chyna, Sable, etc. are barred because of Playoboy or porn, Shawn Michaels should be excused as well for posing for Play Girl.

Valid point. Though he didn't show anything in that, but still. If I were to run a legit hall of fame, it would not matter what someone did. I would base it 100% on their accomplishments in the sport/field my hall of fame was honouring. I could have a "Good guy" section or something, honouring good people...but that's not really the point of a hall of fame.

That one's a tough one, only because his body of work in the ring is worthy of being in the HOF. I have to agree with guys like Jericho & J.R. that he shouldn't be inducted... not because his career didn't deserve it, but because the central focus of any induction he'd be a part of would distract from any other inductees in that respective class, and it wouldn't be fair to those inductees to rob them of their moment because all the focus would be on Benoit.

If I felt his accomplishments warrented a Hall of Fame induction, I would. In reality, I stopped watching before he got huge, so I cannot comment on his case specifically. But if I had a hockey hall of fame, and Wayne Gretzky went Chris Benoit on his family, that would not stop me from inducting him into my HOCKEY hall of fame.

From that standpoint, yes... on the principle, yes he should be in the HOF. The problem I have with it I stated above.

We'd have different Hall of Fames. Mine would be about accomplishments in the sport, yours would be about accomplishments in the sport as well as being able to maintain integrity outside of it

I think Chris Benoit should be in the HOF... and it's actually kind of funny you would make this statement when you chastise me for my stance on the Benoit issue otherwise. You're a walking contradiction. lol
